Honestly his show became stale, and media needs people talking about it. people doing free marketing basically by talking about it, or commenting in the show's youtube clips or interacting with the show's socials. even redbar which openly reports clips and shuts down fansites and subreddits and even goes after fucking archives has more of a presence and fandom.
