The farms being gone made me realize I stopped being interested in VTubers a while ago, this thread was the entertainment for me. I got caught up in the 2020 boom with HoloEN but that moment in time has completely passed. Nothing lasts forever, I'm glad to have been a part of it. Thanks to everyone for the clips, the funny tribalism, the rrats, the live commentary etcetera.

Everything was so new and fresh in 2020. At least for me, first discovering Pikamee, then Coco and right after the EN debuts. They didn't know what they were doing and neither did Cover. By the time of the christmas collab I cried right along with Gura, not being able to be with my family either. I even still didn't mind Calli back then.

But now all of that is gone, for me at least. It's all just so mechanical now. Endless cycles of fake birthdays, chasing trends, huge group collabs with pngs and then the next gen comes along to do it all over again. Plus, male VTubers. I'm glad everyone here is enjoying them and they seem like good dudes, I am just completely uninterested. Not for any parasocial reason or whatever, I just find a male voice coming from an anime avatar too grating. No idea why really and I'm not gonna find out. Funnily enough the non-VTuber streamers I watch are all male. If anyone actually reads all this, you're pretty insane but thanks.

Before you give up on vtubers, particularly male ones, please at least check out Vesper, particularly one of the FTL stream clip vids he has on his channel. Dude has really won me over and made me feel bad for sleeping on Hololive's boys after all the guys in Nijisanji did absolutely nothing for me.

Hope she have a good and trustworthy dentist, bad dental work can affect nerve especially pain receptors. One of my friend got his tooth removed and to this day have stinging pain all over his face flaring up every now and then.

So, news regarding the Nijisanji's "Nijifes" offline concert stuff that will be happening at 1st and 2nd October on this year. There were some news before related to the fact that, thanks to the silly typhoons that hit Japan and other countries, they stated that there is a possibility of a last minute cancellation of the events involving foreign branches that are invited there (Ex-ID, Ex-KR, English, and their CN comrade VirtuaReal).

Well, they released this news recently, and it was half-correct.

While they were able to get some of their folks into Japan despite the nature telling them to fuck off, some other vtubers on their foreign branches ended up still unable to get there. While back then we know that Mysta and Millie are unable to get there even before the dang typhoon happened, now we got more that aren't able to go, which is:
- ID: Taka Radjiman.
- EN: Pomu, Feesh, Rosemi-sama, Enna Alouette, and Vox
- KR: Min Suha, Na Sera, and Seffyna
- VR: Yua and Tsukumo

This means that, due to the lack of Feesh and Pomu, Lazulight 3D is now Lazulite 3D with only Elira as the one that get 3D in Nijifes, and because only Hana Macchia and Zea Cornelia that manages to get to Japan, the whole stuff involving Niji Ex-ID gen 1 (3SetBBQ) is cancelled. Hana Macchia would still be getting her 3D, though.

From what I heard, apparently Pomu broke down on stream because not being able to attend, while Feesh ended up making statement in her quote reply on the announcement that some saw as retarded. Some nijifans malded because ANYCOLOR didn't bother prepping for this long before the event happened, while some are just quite disappointed by the lack of Feesh and Pomu 3D. Small bit are also trying to cope by essentially tried to rub on holofags face calling at how despite the shenanigans above, ANYCOLOR is still able to bring more foreign members to Japan than Cover does. No idea what /vt/ schizos are talking about these, however.

All in all, Hana Macchia 3D get, but at what cost?

Looks like AnyColor have learned from their mistakes with Melissa's graduation by having seemingly launched their very own Record Label 'Altonic Records', and taking Kuzuha, RAIN DROPS, ROF-MAO, and Nornis (who just released a fantastic new cover, and a simultaneous announcement was made that they're releasing their first Single CD this December) at least partially under their wing.

This allows Nijisanji to bring more music-oriented talents in-house whilst also being an extension of Sony Music. Good timing, considering Salome's cover is about to hit 3m views in a week and I'm sure many labels are lining up to secure her pulling power.

Artists assigned to different labels (Kanae, Tsukino Mito, Morinaka Kazaki, TRiNITY etc.) are not involved, meaning this is exclusively a partnership with UMG.

TRiNITY did release an absolute banger a few weeks ago while the site was struggling though.

All in all the company is being extremely aggressive in their mixed media projects this year.
