BTW Keffals, look up
"unclean hands" and
"fruit of the poisonous tree", if you think LE or the courts will allow you to submit criminally hacked and stolen user data to sic LE onto your critics. Yeah, I know you don't give a fuck about the law, that's why you break it while thinking you're above it but you're not.
This is a good point regarding the law, but I think ultimately the main, if not only reason they want our personal information is to contact our families and our employers to get us disowned and fired. I apologize for not having the screenshot ready, but I'm sure most of you have seen the tweet where Keff gloats about the hack and fingers their stench trench at the thought of us quivering in fear over what our employers will think of our post history.
Not that the actual contents of our post history will be what gets us fired. I think I'd be willing to defend even my most spergacious post in public. They will skip that step too and simply slander you as a Nazi-Pedophile to your boss, and if your boss doesn't get rid of you... well, that makes him the new Nazi-Pedophile and we'll see what his family thinks of that.
It's actually been the norm online for a while. I remember some time ago a boomer put photos of his dog in blackface on his Facebook, and barely anyone bat an idea at the idea of contacting his employer / school / family, anything they could get their hands on. I guess it's because inherently, we believe that people should have to account publicly for their sins? But there are no checks or balances to this system, perhaps there never were, even before the internet.
Null has had his dirty laundry out in the open for maybe the longest time, and it's lead him to see a future where everyone knows all the dirty details about everyone else. Then, when an accusation happens, the people can weigh the accuser's sins as well as the accused's. It might make for a more balanced world, but I still don't want to be the first to give up my anonymity.
I think the cyber-mob mentality is exists on every side of every cultural debate, so I hope everyone here will remember that there are two types of doxers: those that want satellite pictures of your backyard so they can make fun of your gardening, and those that want to play God and ruin lives. The latter is evil.
