also the fact that a lot of 'green' policies are blatantly contradicting their stated goals.
if fighting climate change through reduction of fossil fuel consumption was really their main objective, then they would be enthusiastic supporters of large scale nuclear power, because that's the only power source that can actually outcompete and replace fossil fuels in the short and medium term.
but, the polar opposite is the case. the exact same people who made 'fighting climate change' their life mission are also the biggest opponents of nuclear power. this makes me think that fighting climate change isn't their actual goal, it's not the real motivation behind their agenda.
