What culture has the worst cuisine?

Nothing like a good pastrami on rye with some brown mustard.

A tip for finding a good Jewish deli - there should be absolutely nothing on the menu that has meat with cheese on it, or really any cheese or other dairy products offered in general. It's a huge PITA to separate meat and dairy and comply with kashrut. If it's not kosher, it's not worth going to.
The one I'm most familiar with admittedly does not keep Kosher (they have bacon cheeseburgers ffs), which makes the whole thing pointless. There are a lot of Reform Jewish people around here, and they (including myself when I still practiced) don't tend to keep Kosher. However there's been an influx of Hassidics, so that has been changing in the last 10-15 years.

Now, there's an Argentinean-run Kosher restaurant around here and a Kosher burger joint. The first one is pescetarian and all the dishes that would normally have meat are made with vegetarian ersatz product. I've been there a couple times and it didn't blow me away, but I also don't like most fake meat products. The Kosher burger joint was pretty good when I went there, but it was almost a decade ago and the menu has changed significantly while still being Kosher. Maybe I will go back some time during the week to see if it's still any good.

Slight power level: as a billionaire, I've been all over. Anywhere with constant freezing temps lends itself to fermented meat in the daily diet. Not great, if you aren't used to it.

British food is also shit. You'd think a place so heavily dependent on the spice trade would use fucking spices, but no...

It's always island nations. Iceland, Scotland, Japan(yes, their food sucks, you're eating rotten fish) Ireland, England, Corsica, but tbh, fucking Eskimo diet man, whale blubber, and for a special treat seal blubber. the eskimo diet rapidly ages you, but eskimoes have even evolved to tolerate what would kill normal people in their long-term diets, still die young and age rapidly but nobody else can tolerate what they eat. Yup, definitely eskimoes.

Russian. There's nothing good in Russia, and that includes their food. The few Russian foods that are halfway remarkable can be found in better forms in one of the other nearby countries like Poland or something. Vodka is rubbing alcohol. Kvass is swill.

It's not that most Russian food is grotesque or something, mostly. It's just not good. It's bland, dull, and not good.

A lot of the issue with Eskimos dying per capita earlier is their suicide statistics, eating imported junk food, alcoholism, excess UV exposure when the sun is out and not enough vitamin D when it's consistently dark. The Eskimo natural diet is pretty nutritional, meat based, with some plants sprinkled in. It's just a sad case of the "rez" in a cold, inhospitable area for many.

Japan(yes, their food sucks, you're eating rotten fish)
I mostly like japanese cuisine (actual japan cuisine not something the nips copied from other countries) but I really despise adding raw eggs to food like cooked rice. It makes your meal slimy and disgusting. 🤮

probably Saudi/Gulf
atleast other Arabs have some nice dishes, Gulfies just can't cook
it kind of explains why they flock to shitty restaurants here because even those overexpensive tourist traps BTFO the food they serve at their 5 star hotels

They seem to have a thing for bland food and weird textures.

Natto is pretty gross, is just spoiled soy beans

When you come right down to it, a lot of Japanese food (particularly these days) is copied from somewhere. Even a lot of the stuff that is seen as "iconic" Japanese food, like ramen.

Doesn't matter, a lot of that stuff is tasty. I love Japanese curries, for example, as much as Indian ones, and way more than Thai ones.

Gyudon is more-or-less "authentic" Japanese cuisine, even if it's relatively modern since it's a beef dish. It's one of my favorite foods, that I sadly don't get nearly enough. But it's one of those that some people crack a raw egg over, too, and I'm with you... Raw egg is just not an enjoyable experience for me.

What a pussy.
And kvass is god-tier, much better than all of the goyslop sugary pop.

I just don't see any reason to drink straight alcohol. Even the backwoods hicks around here make shine with more flavor than that shit.

And kvass is just beer made by people too fucking poor, backwards and living in too big of a shithole to actually make beer.

Everyone hates on me for this but Indian food. I'm not into a jug of oil and 2 sticks of butter with every meal. The bastardized versions of Indian dishes are nicer.

Yeah, roti is nice and I've made lighter versions of certain dishes, but everything is so high in calories. The really cheap Indian restaurants are the worst. The rice is just swimming in oil.

Got to be American. To be clear, real food in the US is as good as anywhere and I know it's not really fair to judge a countries cuisine on fast food or the cheapest proceeded slop, but the amount of literal fucking poison being sold over there is unbelievable. It comes to something when a good portion of the "food" being sold would be illegal in most of the civilized world. Even the fucking fast food in most other countries is better.

In terms of traditional foods it's got to be any 3rd world nation, they will eat literally anything. For the 1st world then it's the French for me, although I loved to bread and cheese when I was over there.

My problem with Indian food is that it, in my experience, always schlop in a bowl with a bowl of rice next to it. Nothing wrong with the taste or the food, I like stews but I also like to have the option to not order stews. They're far, far, far from the worst but aside from the sides and the bread it seems to be all stew.
