Opie is just boring. He does a milquetoast show with some milquetoast people now and on occasion has some lukewarm take on something in the media. Opie also isn't a lunatic and maintains an extremely private personal life. He's a slightly cringe kind-of retired guy.

If it's the childhood story the defense was another black guy tried to pressure her into sleeping with him after finding out she'd been with Patrice. The guy threatened to tell all so the girl said she was assaulted by random black kids to get ahead of it. The story definitely plays into how dindus see the universe ("white girls totally want us but just lie") but it's impossible to know.
