There are plenty of non-newfags here who spam/celebrate page count thresholds and contribute nothing of relevance to threads that get featured. Keffals' thread's page count is a result of Keffals being a voluminous lolcow that went after the site directly—gay ops and newfags do not comprise the majority of posts in that thread.
