Why did you agree to voluntarily give your passwords to the police? Was this on your solicitor's advice? Personally unless charged and compelled I wouldn't have given them anything at all, simply out of principle.
She definitely needs a much better solicitor. It requires a court order, specifically a Section 49 Notice, to compel the disclosure of encryption keys, something very unlikely to be granted as part of a bullshit witch-hunt.
Also, even if your shitty solicitor tells you to, never accept a caution. It's not a "slap on the wrist" or a formality or whatever bullshit they tell you to get you to sign it, it's an admission of guilt which goes on your criminal record and will be used to convince the CPS to press real charges against you the next time you're arrested.
