Sounds like that the only solution some may have is mini 1861, with a COD campaign unlike any other, with LA County, Orange County, and Silicon Valley vs everyone else.
The California problem is not only has the Left been systematically migrating to and fortifying the State, the right has started to migrate away from the State. This is a phenomenon that has been growing since the 90s and started exponentially growing after Schwarzenegger decided he was going to make sure he was going to be the last "Republican" Governor. By at least 2016, California was never going to elect a rightwing President, or Senator ever again, even if the elections weren't rigged. Larry Elder might have been able to win had there been no rigging, but that woulds still be an extreme outlier for the State.

New York is a bit different where they don't have quite the same level of Right-Wing Emigration from the State anymore. Does that mean I think the State will flip anytime soon? Not really. NYC has all they need to be able to rig Statewide elections. I'll admit to having limited knowledge of the NY State Congress, but even if the Reps are able to take a slight lead in the Congress, I doubt it will be able to overcome the Governor.
 
They went up in arms in electing a White man over a Black man because he had an R next to his name. If that's not racist, I don't know what is.
They had a woman wearing a monkey mask throwing bananas at him and the media didn't say anything.
In other news RCP has moved NY 22 to lean Republican, putting Republicans at 219, they moved 3 other house races from lean Democrat to toss up.

Get beat and almost losing an eye; getting stabbed; getting thrown into the subway tracks, so far this week alone. And then there's that poor EMT that was stabbed to death last week who left her station to get something at a deli in Queens on her break. Recent subway shoves/settlements:

When people saw her for the first time, the general thought amongst New Yorkers was "there is no way in hell she could possibly be worse than Cuomo."

Whereas most would see this as an observation of her predecessor's problems, however, Hochul decided to take this as a challenge. Almost everything she has done has been to make Cuomo look subdued and restrained by comparison, and to say that of someone who basically was one of the biggest people leading the charge on COVID hysteria is a fucking accomplishment.

Adams is the same way. There was hope that he'd do better, especially given his pedigree, but in practice he honestly makes DeBlasio look tame in contrast, which in and of itself should be grounds for a lifetime achievement award.

My old contacts have been reporting about a lot of frustrated Dems hoping to vote Red as a consequence. I, for one, choose to be cautiously optimistic.

Nothing they hate more than a nigger who doesn't act like a nigger. I've never seen fiercer, genuine, unwarranted racism than the likes of what Larry Elder and Clarence Thomas got from the left.

Wow. It’s like the 70s and 80s all over again, but without the Mafia. And seeing how the whole state is held by the balls by the trendy parts of Manhattan, and maybe Williamsburg because why not, I honestly doubt we’ll see someone like Giuliani again.

Honestly, it sounds like a Godfather style turf war that envelopes the whole state would be seen as a righteous cleansing at this point.
