IIRC, Bryan Hughes isn't with Ty's firm anymore. Same with Bullock. It's reverted back to the Beard & Harris name.

Regardless, I am of the opinion that Beard needs to stay the fuck out of this issue, and anything else even remotely important. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in that assessment too.

i have a feeling the only reason the one loser emailed nick apologizing, denouncing keffals and begging to not have his info released is because somebody in this thread suggested they try doing exactly that

listen guy, if you'll do literally anything literally anyone here suggests, i suggest you take a bath with a toaster. make sure it's plugged in and use an extension cord if need be, i know it's hard to find toasters with long enough cords these days

I wonder when Youtube is going to start feeling the financial pressure this stuff is putting on their parent company. A screenshot recently showed he's made what, over a million bucks? That's a phenomenal amount of money for a channel operated by one person. That puts him among Youtube's biggest earners. Easily the top 1%.

That money comes out of a much bigger bucket -- the revenue Youtube collects from advertisers for showing their ads on these streams. Users get a pittance and Youtube keeps the rest. If Rekieta has made a million bucks from his content, Youtube has made many times that amount from advertisers. Now, in order to entertain the demands of their troon friends, they've flipped that bucket over and buried it in concrete, giving up millions of dollars in revenue -- which is now up for grabs by any other streaming service who wants to scoop it up -- in the process.

It doesn't matter whether any other platform can get that much revenue out of his content. What matters is that now Youtube can't. They've just given up that revenue for good unless they embarrass themselves by reversing the decision (possible) and Rekieta decides to keep using them (less likely since he seems to have planned for this and is already set up and doing well on the other platforms).

This is yet another high-profile ban that's gaining not-quite-as-fringe attention IRL. Doing shit like this seriously damages Youtube's reputation among the two groups that pay the bills -- the advertisers who pay to place ads on Youtube and the content creators who upload content to Youtube on which it can place those ads.

Advertisers may publicly disavow the content but privately love the exposure they were getting but now are not. They're learning that this dominant, expensive advertising platform will cheerfully take their money then deny them potentially hundreds of thousands of eyeballs and millions of impressions -- even if they're explicitly targeting those viewers based on this kind of content -- if a small group of unrelated twitter lunatics complains enough about it. Content creators (who already don't trust Youtube) are getting yet another demonstration of just how unreliable Youtube really is.

If advertisers keep seeing more and more potential impressions and interactions being deliberately abandoned, they're going to start asking Google some hard questions like "what exactly are we paying for again?" If more high-profile content creators move to other platforms because they know Youtube can't be trusted, the trannies still won't be happy (they never are -- they just move on to a new target) but the platform will have less content, fewer views and less engagement overall, leading advertisers to buy fewer impressions and reduce what they're willing to pay for them.

I know the message pushers don't care one bit about revenue or profit (which makes it so delightful when they inevitably go broke and can't figure out why), but the bean counters (and shareholders) do. This was an action that cost the company millions in revenue. This will get more attention at higher levels within the company than banning some nobody would. Even if leadership and woketards throughout the company don't care, the accountants and lawyers know that as big as they are, Youtube is not actually an island. Even if a few million dollars is just a "drop in the bucket" because of Google's gargantuan revenue, no bean counter ignores "a few million dollars" in the loss column.

They've really got to stop helping their competition like this. Eventually they'll lift one of them up enough to genuinely threaten them and be strong enough in terms of resources and political capital to resist the underhanded deplatforming tactics that have been used against up-and-comers in the past. All it's going to take is a few high-profile advertisers to give up on Youtube and switch over to another platform and the herd will follow.

Five years ago I'd have thought this scenario was an utter impossibility. But five years ago these dipshits weren't shooting themselves in the foot (wallet) like this. Today, it seems pretty feasible since they're so eager to turn their backs on profit at the expense of their customers (the advertisers, that is). You can't do that indefinitely without infinite money, and not even Google has that.

There's also a lot of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" thinking among wokies and libtards, which -- since they routinely think in black and white terms -- results in them rallying behind literal pedophiles and other monstrous creatures solely because they say they hate Trump and want to "punch nazis."

I'm sure they all privately hate him. I have no doubt there are some juicy private conversations (or fucking discord servers because that's where these morons all congregate) where they all talk shit about him, or at least express grave concerns over his actions and the damage he's causing with them.

But for the moment, he's taking the lion's share of the "heat" for their collective bullshit and still charging ahead deplatforming "bad guys" anyway, and so they're all too happy to let him carry on because they all enable each other and can't resist the feeling of power it gives them.
