I'm not a commentary regular but caught parts of Fireball 3, including this humdinger of a rabble round between Bowblax and Tipster vs Mutahar and his girlfriend. For context, the teams faced off in "games", mainly trivia. As soon as they're all on screen the reeeeee begins, and the reeeeee ends in a chat poll declaring Bow and Tip the winners. Props to Mutahar defending his woman at the start by cutting her off as she tries to say that Bowblax was doing good for a retard.

This thread has been a pretty entertaining read.

I used to enjoy their vids (not all of them. Mainly TRO, Jaubrey and Turkey Tom. Before this thread I had no idea who most of these other people are. Not even sure what the appeal of channels like ARFC and Bowblax is) until the John Swan dream scandal. I don't care about dream, but there was something about the way John behaved throughout the situation that made me absolutely despise him as a person.
I assumed they would at least distance themselves from his cancer, but they tried their best to act like nothing happened. Then Black wolf company made that terrible 2021 roundup video featuring other creators including JohnSwan and I was convinced of their hypocrisy.
This entire community is really just a bunch of tea channels that reject the name "tea channel". Reading this thread has helped me confirm that, so I salute those of you who put yourself through the torture of consuming their content and following their socials for those of us who can't.

Also additional content for those who might be interested. This might be but I don't remember it being discussed much. I think many of you are aware of Cordwit but I don't think I've seen his videos discussed on here. This video by him was the final nail in the coffin of my respect for anybody who calls themselves a YouTube commentator:

It's so transparently a "come on guys. Forgive JohnSwan. Dream lied too and people forgave him so forgive JohnSwan or else you're all hypocrites" video poorly disguised as "lol everyone fucks up and they always bounce back so does holding them accountable really mean anything? Also this totally isn't about John Swan" video.

I couldn't get past the first half or so but it's reeaally clear what the purpose of the video is. And recently finding out that they've worked together on videos in the past cemented it for me.
I don't fault anyone for defending/helping their friend, but this community is so obsessed with appearing morally superior (just like JohnSwan) that they would rather try to gaslight their audience than admit they're biased.

Also the art cc is completely boring cancer. Every single one of them is a completely useless attention whore and contributes nothing worthwhile to anything, not even entertainment.
So once again to the heroes who watch their content to update the thread.

All that faggot Cordwit does on Twitter is complain about "Hooowwww Hawrd" it is to stay motivated in making videos. Fucker you've made 24 in three years! Most of them do not even have 20 minutes of run time. I remember it was getting so bad I think people were making fun of him for being a massive pussy on Twitter all day.

It probably has to do with the rise in several hour autistic analysis videos in the algorithm, which led to TRO being an early adopter, which led to other faggots like InternetAJay and Jaubrey to try and ape the growing style (Which is probably why the thumbnails of TRO and people who try and copy his style look so overly edited and ugly as shit and why they try to go for several hours.

They all pretty much use the same editor to make thumbnails, or at least they used to. They all look the same because they are all talking about the same thing usually, so the editor throws on a different filter and there you go.

TRO was appealing to me at first because I had no idea about the subjects of his videos and the drama surrounding them. Like another poster said, they're good for someone who's been in a coma and missed everything. But when you've already heard a lot about the subject, 3+hours seems like way too much time to spend listening to a retelling of shit you already know. It's why I didn't even click on his videos on Creepshow art, Blaire White and the frenemies. Looking back with full context, all of his 1+hour videos could've been edited down to half their length and lost nothing of value, but to be fair this has always been TRO's approach.

Jaubrey on the other hand is literally scraping the bottom of the barrel now. Even his god-tier editing can't save incredibly stale topics. Andrew Tate is really not long video topic material, and making a video on Daddy-O-Five now is pretty much a cry for help.

I think he's just run out of topics. Same as TRO and most commentary YouTubers. When your whole shtick is talking about how awful other people are, topics dry up eventually. That's when they start targeting other commentary YTers, getting into Twitter spats and exposing their own shitty character. I'm expecting his uploads to get more and more infrequent and lower quality until he turns into a streamer/podcaster.
