No one except the US lost anything from the energy arrangement, and that was because the EU wasn't buying overpriced LNG in favor of cheap and accessible Russian gas. From an American perspective the entire war is great on that front because LNG is now competitive. It's also good for the great democrats in Azerbaijan who can fill the gap that we created by ditching Russian deliveries and sell us what'll in part still be Russian gas with an extra fee attached. This will not wean anyone on the continent from green energy fantasies nor wean them from gas if you happen to be a green energy sperg, it'll just spike the prices and make a great many businesses non-functional. Russia and the European countries both won from the arrangement, the US didn't. If you're American, you've no reason not to back what's gone on, if you are in Europe and back it you're a retard or a Balt/Pole, but I repeat myself.

Where is that certainty coming from? NATO will do nothing as long as no NATO members are attacked. Both NATO and the US specifically have repeatedly stated they will not get involved directly, even if Russia uses a tactical nuclear weapon in Ukraine.

Medium sized cities with a population of 10k+ are nowadays closer to medium sized central european cities when it comes to infrastructure. And yes, every city in every country run down and poorer neighborhoods. Americans should know.


One thing too, buildings in Europe and Russia are actually built to last, made of concrete and bricks and not just drywall and plywood like in the US.
