However, at about the same rate, she is also delusional, desperate, and defiant.

Holy shit, you just made me realize something.

The reason I feel so uncomfortable and have such a visceral negative reaction watching Chantal do this shit is because it is the EXACT same behaviour that my BPD sister used to display when she was a teenager. It’s actually uncanny. Sorry for shitting up the thread.

Also, the recorded video arc is too hilarious for words. Chantal proves time and time again that she is the type of woman who will drop her entire life and every person in it once a man shows even a modicum of interest in her. VIBeezers who!?

I am not always a fan of this person’s videos, but Chantal would do well to take heed of what she says. She has experience in the Middle East as she has worked there in the past.


ETA: my cynical heart can’t help but think this sudden change to recorded content is so that she can control the filters and the comments section. So that lover boy only sees the image she wants to present. No chance of accidentally having a filter fail, an unflattering angle, a casually dropped cuss word, or an escaped belch or fart if she has control over editing before she publishes.

Won’t Mr Salad be surprised if she actually ever makes it to Kuwait and he sees the “real” Chantal, in all her unedited glory???

She is completely unrecognisable from her true look. We only know it's the Gunt because we're accustomed to the filters. My care factor is zero though, as both of them are playing a con game on each other. I suspect in future, if this relationship makes it into next week, we'll be thinking this pair deserve each other, and better to keep them busy with each other so they are away from other potential victims. Nader 2.0 but marginally better looking.

The cutting off of the nails gives the slightest whiff of “maybe she’s not trolling” so I’m more keen to entertain it. I’m not sure when this guy realized she could be his key to YouTube stardom, complete with side business ventures, but I would imagine he’s expecting her thick locks of wig hair to be hiding under that hijab. Bald Beauty will be a shocker, if he’d ever actually meet her.

He could do his own channel a la Nader and out her texts and chats, maybe videos he surreptitiously recorded, seeking to get the views and maybe superchats to make it all worth it? Money is a powerful motivator and just look at Sam’s Bar Lounge - they got monetized.
Some have commented on Twitter how Kuwaiti citizens are financially comfortable for the most part, and the unlikelihood of him seeking her for money as a Kuwaiti. However, he is a Syrian in Kuwait, if what they say is true, and that’s a whole different thing. She’s said he’s working, and yes he could be a contract worker or more likely, he’s one of the tens of thousands of Syrian expats who overstayed the 1 year emergency permit granted 5-6 years back.
