Steven is banned and isn't allowed inside the actual convention while Melina likely went inside allowing La Creatura to attack, Steven's IRL stream was just him loitering outside with a bunch of people I don't recognize.

In case it wasn't clear, Destiny is sitting outside the entrance doors to a convention that he's banned from hoping people on their way inside stop and talk to him. He's in his mid 30s or some shit, this is one of the most pathetic things I've seen in a while tbh. Surprised security haven't told him to fuck off yet.

Destiny is complaining he's not getting contributions back to his codebase he commissions awhile ago. Listening to Destiny talk I would have assumed he used a permissive license, but it turns out he used CC BY-SA 3.0. This is problematic because Creative Commons is not a software license, it is intended for discrete assets like images and audio. Even Creative Commons themselves discourage the use of Creative Commons licenses for software because it's not a software license. Under proper usage of the license you are required to redistribute modifications. Unfortunately for Destiny it could be argued that hosting a website using his codebase is not distribution or a "public performance". There is no objective truth because the codebase was never properly licensed, no lawyer will be able to provide Destiny a definitive interpretation of the license, merely a baseless opinion. Whoever decided to use Creative Commons basically doesn't have a clue, the proper software license equivalent would have been AGPL which is very typical for web-based FOSS projects.

If Destiny is serious about legal action he should talk to a lawyer who has actual prior experience with (F)OSS, maybe someone associated with the FSF. Any random contract lawyer's opinion should be disregarded like the opinion of a redditor.
