To their credit, a very small number of them show self awareness. As in, "huh, maybe the conservatives I've been arguing with have had a fucking point this whole time." It's rare, but I've sometimes seen examples.

They are delusional authoritarians, just like most of the radical left has devolved into. They haven't changed, and they have little reason to. Radicals only become more sane with age and passing of time, and even that is questionable. So any real radfem will only see the way troons are despised on this site as a convenience of thought, and not a coming to terms. Because they have one thing right, and that is that transgenders are still what they were when they were born. Other than that, they are all misandrist hypocrites. At least not compared to the "cultural enrichment" rife in the west. Which is strange because most of them don't even acknowledge is an issue. She apparently posted a thread responding to my KF post about her investigation, explaining why the story wasn't picked up by the media. I didn't know any of this (because I didn't keep up) and am genuinely sorry to hear it was ignored. It was a really good story and a truly probing investigation. Perhaps reach out to Jesse Singal and Greenwald about it?



BTW, what I posted was not a thread about Christie but a single post. A "thread" on KF is when you have multiple posts by different user about a topic. In my posts I linked to excerpts from a longer video interview I had found where she described her experiences with the TIF and her investigation of what was happening at that school. Also, I had never encountered the notion of "transcedental phenomenological inquiry" before but the way it was explained in this video - basically taking a whole person and reducing them down to a single term - instantly made things click in my head, because I had seen TRAs do this to people repeatedly.

In this other thread Christie goes into a discussion we had about the fact that a lot of the known TERF channels on Youtube did not discuss the leak of the repeal of Roe vs. Wade. To be fair, many did end up discussing it when once was clear the verdict wasn't just a draft but was final. For example, Isabella did a whole Livestream with one of her teachers discussing some of the scary situations she has personally encountered as a doula working in States where abortion was already being restricted.
