And once the Republicans fix it

Our problems are caused by things both parties support. Decades of profligate spending, a generation that has no children, unlimited migration, and offshoring domestic industry are coming home to roost. Bill's coming due. We can't pay it by fiddling with marginal tax rates.

Meanwhile, in Political Show Trial news, the Democrats' desperate October Surprise is to try and drag Trump before them for a perjury trap + infinite sound byte farm. "Please Trump, we fucked everything up and they might force us to take responsibility, won't you come in front of an illegal bullshit "trial" so we can lie about you and accuse you of everything wrong in the world so our stupid base can masturbate themselves into the polling booths?"
Caught some of CNN earlier and even their talking heads outright admitted this is for publicity and little else. By the time they get around to taking this to court (since lol at Trump voluntarily appearing) it's already after the midterms and by that point it's a lame duck committee waiting to be put out of its misery in January.

The one remaining great hope for the Orange Man resistance is the DOJ. Only bet worth time right now is whether Garland decides to go full retard and indict Trump in the new year.

We all know this won't happen in time because Trump would be a fool to go in front of them at all, yet alone willingly. So he's going to refuse and they'll immediately pivot to "Trump is HIDING from us!"

It's all so transparent that only the dumbest of blue wave #RESIST bots would get excited for it. Which is white the 1/6 commission ratings are so low.

Ummmmm - they DO realize that Musk is mainly the one fueling their electric car future, right?
Nope. Like Netflix, once he proved it was possible the other companies are swooping in to steal the idea. Tesla is explicitly excluded from Biden's push for EVs and federal funding for EV factories and shit. Ideally they push him out with a MeToo allegation and put in someone more easily controllable, preferably a pajeet or chink so they can steal all their IP and give it to a more deserving company.

I m not a fan of musk but to his credit he built the charging network, the manufacturing methods like giga casting etc. put him in a different category than the big 3. same with ether buying or building up a very integrated company/ supply chain.

I personally think he s a good hype man and pays people much smarter than him to do things slove problems etc.

lol still laughing that rivian is owned by amazon

If they can fabricate hoaxes about Russian collusion and kidnapping plots, or charge Alex Jones a billion dollars for verbal shitposting, they can find a way to make an example of Musk.

Global economy on fire and only going to get worse, unironically closest to nuclear war we've been since the height of the Cold War, Norks just sent a barrage of artillery and violated treaty with the South, and this is what the frontpage of Drudge looks like.

Sorry for the doublepost, but Matt Drudge is the HotWheels of conservative media.

Edit: scratch that, there's a few contenders for that title, including but not limited to David French, David Brock, Jonah Goldberg, and Joe Scarborough.

Tesla doesn't have much IP. The interesting patents are all owned by Panasonic.

Tesla's manufacturing methods and supply processes result in them having industry-worst scrap rates and unfixable defects. They're definitely in a different category than everyone else, but not because they're better.

Musk’s problem is that everything has to be new and innovative. Just because the drivetrain is electric does not change how to manufacture and install a seat. The major car makers have car manufacture down to a science.

Also making a tangible item is vastly different then coding some app or website. Tesla’s insistence to run like a startup is going to catch up with them. You can’t use your customers as a beta test with a car.

Is it common for politicians to fundraise through private messages? One of my twitter burners follows a ton of democrat politicians but the only one that has ever messaged me is Eric Swalwell.

My rep's campaign did. I told them to go eat broken glass.

They haven't texted since.

Remember, the goal is to get him hit with a Felony at the best possible time, to prevent him from running in 2024 but also do it late enough that he can't fight back in time to get back on the ballot. Then they can slide in a Uniparty shill and deflate all that populist support he's built up over 4-8 years of "technically not a Neoliberal" policies, a-la Bush Jr. Get us right back on schedule for our planned demise.

With that in mind, probably closer to the end of 2023 I'm guessing? Everything until then is just kabuki theater to keep the base worked up and batshit insane.
I am tired of this line.

Even if they -convicted- Trump of a felony he could still run. Even if he was -behind bars- he could still run. Please look up Eugene V. Debs, a man arrested and convicted of -sedition- who was still able to run for President while still in prison.

This line is simply moronic against all historical precedence, the law, and any sort of actual merit.

The bread and circuses need to go on, after all.

We need to distract people with Jan 6 shit even though inflation keeps creeping higher and higher and the Russo-Ukranian war is edging the world to WWIII. Additionally, Biden is all but basically begging OPEC to stop throttling oil production until after the midterms and the State of Emergency for Covid has been extended yet again (probably to allow for the sweet sweet mail-in ballots).

If you say so, I m a toyota man. And there is something with how the others have got an electric pick up out the door before the CYBER truck.

But the example I m thinking of is more US steele after WWII they were the only game in town, they already had huuge amounts of capital spent on there mills.

They had done research in continus casting but again they already had huuge mill already paid for.

The continus casting method was later perfected and adopted by Europe where all their mills were bombed, and thus they got an edge.

Also with toyota, about 13 years ago The Toyota Production system was big. Whats funny about TPS is the corner stone if it JUST IN TIME was created in america and the big 3 rejected it.

Since this is A&N before anyone screams about JUST IN TIME being stupid. If you live in a world where supply chains function as they should, with secure and reliable transportation you can run lean and save money. managing, storing, and maintaining excess stock costs money.

Also japan specific cultural thing pointing out by tachi ono the father of TPS. Japanese face culture leads to a big incentive to hid things, the excess stock can be used to hid problems. In USA If there is a defect in a part throw it in the junk bin and get a new one. At toyota you burn through too many defective parts the line will stop and then questions get asked, the emphases being "its okay to stop the line" just fix it now dont pass issue up the line.
