Learn some history and you'll understand that this conflict started from a western-backed takeover of Ukraine by Galician nationalists, has nothing to do with true Ukrainian nationalism. Galicia was always a problematic region in Ukraine, they have their own culture, religion, and even language. The west has given them control of all of Ukraine, and they ran it into the ground.

It's the same mistake people make when they support countries like Russia or China. They want to believe so desperately that someone is the "good guy" or hero that they end up ignoring the reality of what that person or country really is. What's interesting is how skillfully they play some people into falling for it.
