Lets take a gamble and assume this is in good faith...
Start with your local community. Galvanize them for whats coming. Make your message and what you stand for attractive. Your local church, PTA groups, local charities etc are fertile grounds for this kind of thing. People are more receptive than you might think. Especially white families. Naturally socially cohesive groups are reactive and they're not blind to what is going on, they just need to be coaxed into doing something about it without being afraid of the stigma attached to it, and theres safety in numbers.
Confession time; I was a paypig for TRS for a couple of years. Now I rarely listen to anything outside of stuff that someone has already clipped. I saw what happened on the 504um. I saw how it took a massive outcry for them to even address what went on with Ghoul. I saw what they did to Musonius.
Degeneracy and shitshows aside, if TRS want to achieve anything they need to stop being so insular. "We only want quality people" is a fucking cope. This is politics. Its a pure numbers game, whether you're going to tackle things head-on or via a more subversive route. The IRL activism they have done so far has been great, but by now they should be able to bring in way more numbers to these things. The excuse of vetting etc is just that, an excuse. If you're even adjacent to the "far right" assume you're infiltrated, because you probably are, whether its the feds or the likes of antifa. It doesn't matter how many measures you put in place, you're dealing with dedicated people who are either paid to do it or passionate enough about it to get the job done.
The optics problem with TRS has nothing to do with a guy wearing a poorly fitting stahlhelm, its more to do with the fact that the front men just aren't likeable people. I've always had a soft spot for Mike, hes a good orator (and he has all his shoes and glasses), but even he can come across as a belligerent sperg at times. They need 2-3 people that they can put in front of a national TV news crew and not be afraid that they'll come across like the r/antiwork guy. Even if they're stooges that are fed lines for the camera, it would be better than whats on offer currently. Also, either abandon social media entirely or learn how to not be a massive sociopath while you're on there. Patrick Bateman is a great meme, but not a great advert for an organisation that is trying to build a community.
