A man in womans clothing
this is the exact same thing he did last time, which is one of the reasons why he's now larping as a wheelchair-bound ms suffererafter reading the thread fully and noting he hasn't tweeted since the excuse filled 'apology', my bet is that he hides for a while and then comes back with some new disease to try and deflect how badly he came off at the event and in the video
Cons usually handle event bans quietly (unless they're nawt-zees then they scream it on Twitter). Seeing Rioley get banned publicly would be great, but sadly....Further Confusion in San Jose is January 12. He might be banned from this, IDK. The picnic was a Further Confusion event.
Then the next two fur cons in proximity are in April.
Might be a long, dark winter, frens.
The con might handle things discreetly on their side of things, but I'm sure we can trust Rioley to go on another extremely public tirade when it happens.Cons usually handle event bans quietly (unless they're nawt-zees then they scream it on Twitter). having never gone to or dealt with any kind of con, is it a real possibility they would/could pre-ban him based on his behavior at other events? if so that is understandable and also very funny. has this happened before to anyone? The con might handle things discreetly on their side of things, but I'm sure we can trust Rioley to go on another extremely public tirade when it happens.
While I'm not big on furries in general I'm fairly certain this happened to "nazifurs" and the current iteration of the "burned furs".having never gone to or dealt with any kind of con, is it a real possibility they would/could pre-ban him based on his behavior at other events? if so that is understandable and also very funny. has this happened before to anyone?
huh? some kinda group?"burned furs".
The OG burned furs were a 'clean up the fandom' deal. It's a long, autistic story.huh? some kinda group?
pretty much every con can pre-ban you if they don't like you for whatever reason, there are private events they don't have any obligation or owe you any rights
hell, these are furries were talkin about, imagine the REEE if they COULDN'T ban someone all willy nilly
I'd be willing to bet he's already been preemptively banned from the con that hosted the gathering where he had his little sperg-out, at least.having never gone to or dealt with any kind of con, is it a real possibility they would/could pre-ban him based on his behavior at other events?
oh cmon you can't NOT tell me, or at least not link... they gotta have a thread, right?'clean up the fandom' deal. It's a long, autistic story.
If you watch the Fredrik Knudsens Furry video, it goes into the history plus the burned fur shit.oh cmon you can't NOT tell me, or at least not link... they gotta have a thread, right?
when i hear "clean up the fandom" the two options in my head are 'remove [individuals who's opinions/behavior we believe is harmful] via social warfare like cancellings and shit' and 'GAS DA JOOOOOS!'
The OG burned furs don't have a thread, that was 20+ years ago. It was basically started by some traditional cartoon animators associated with Furry who claimed they couldn't get work in the industry because of the reputation of Furry. Which was in part true because of the legend of Steve Martin (the furry one) showing porn at job interviews, but it was also a dying industry.oh cmon you can't NOT tell me, or at least not link... they gotta have a thread, right?

I'm glad you asked. It was because artist friends of some very influential people in FC's higher echelons got mad that Sibe was giving away paywalled art for free. See: [fXc]has this happened before to anyone?
lol telling furries not to draw porn is like telling fish not to swimThe OG burned furs don't have a thread, that was 20+ years ago. So it was a guy named Eric Blumrich and a bunch of others telling people to not make porn. The backlash was huge. I don't think any were actually banned from cons, people had thicker skins back then.
The "furry fandom" should be focused on tracking down and exiling sex pests and predators. Not just enhancing Nazi Furrys' third reich larp fetish. If you watch the Fredrik Knudsens Furry video, it goes into the history plus the burned fur shit.
It's autistic as previously said, and the video more or less proves that it is and always has been a sex thing.
Describing plushophiles as "people who treat FAO Schwarz as a singles bar" in that letter was comedy gold tho.The OG burned furs were a 'clean up the fandom' deal. It's a long, autistic story.
You're quite right. Eric had his moments.Describing plushophiles as "people who treat FAO Schwarz as a singles bar" in that letter was comedy gold tho.
He definitely will go quiet. A few pages back he talked about working with a speech pathologist to try and get a “red flag“ removed off his medical profile because he keeps having outbursts and the medical system have decided that he’s too dangerous to work with right now.after reading the thread fully and noting he hasn't tweeted since the excuse filled 'apology', my bet is that he hides for a while and then comes back with some new disease to try and deflect how badly he came off at the event and in the video
