Cons usually handle event bans quietly (unless they're nawt-zees then they scream it on Twitter). Seeing Rioley get banned publicly would be great, but sadly....

Many people have caught preemptive bans from cons. Many banned Chewfox back in the day, for example. Or Connor Goodwolf/Insanekangaroo. Etc, etc.

It was basically started by some traditional cartoon animators associated with Furry who claimed they couldn't get work in the industry because of the reputation of Furry. Which was in part true because of the legend of Steve Martin (the furry one) showing porn at job interviews, but it was also a dying industry.

So it was a guy named Eric Blumrich and a bunch of others telling people to not make porn. The backlash was huge. I don't think any were actually banned from cons, people had thicker skins back then.

He definitely will go quiet. A few pages back he talked about working with a speech pathologist to try and get a “red flag“ removed off his medical profile because he keeps having outbursts and the medical system have decided that he’s too dangerous to work with right now.
