Nobu was originally AR15, but he had to dip out and come back to poast with a different name because he, along with a few other poastoids, decided to cape for the kid raper who took refuge on poast.
I thought they were different guys at first because I thought it was just coincidental that they’re both nuremspergs and that he came along a week after AR15 decided to deactivate. I thought that surely after this he’d just go to a different instance, but like most poastoids, he’s just too unpleasant to be accepted most places. What really gave it away for me besides the way he writes and reacts is that he uploaded a CSV follow list which simultaneously followed all of my accounts at the time.
I have a hard time separating the fallout with Nobu from the fallout with Undu since they jumped ship pretty close to each other but I'm pretty sure Nobu leaving was where a lot of poasties started getting really angry about kiwifags and kiwiniggers. Specifically I recall one guy bemoaning Nobu's departure by saying that he always had his back and it's still the single gayest fucking thing I've ever seen on the fediverse.
I don't know what kind of normies would even begin to use a platform like Poast where you look at the public timeline for 10 seconds and immediately see pedophiles sharing their masturbatory materials.
The lolicon fags are part of why people don’t want to use the fediverse. It’s going to continue to be like that until they either get drove off or there’s a huge push to defederate them. A lot of the mastodon instances do that already, but they don’t have any incentive to join.
