The interesting thing about this report is of course the seller, but perhaps even more so are the unstated details. Looking at Uganda's automotive industry, there's primarily two companies, one of which is just a subsidiary of a Kenyan-based corporation that imports and subsequently assembles foreign vehicles. The other one, however, is not only a domestic company, but a manufacturer that has a fairly strong focus in electric and hybrid vehicles, that being Kiira Motors Corporation. Yes, they manufacture the car that @potato fan posted that does look a little silly, almost like a weird hybrid of a Kia Soul and a Prius, but their primary product line isn't that; instead, it's rather a field of automotive production that's far more pragmatic and important for the region: Buses. Their manufacturing plant has a capacity of approximately 5,000 vehicles a year, and surprisingly enough, the specifications for their buses are actually pretty decent.Multipolar world update: Russian state-owned news agency RIA Novosti reports that Uganda will supply electric cars of its own production to Russia and that the US will not be able to prevent African countries from cooperating with Moscow.

That sounds like a not bad improvisation.I doubt that body will protect you from a machine gun or rifle direct hit,but remember, more people were wounded by shrapnel than by bullets. And a body well might slow down shrapnel enough to make a difference.
