That sounds like a not bad improvisation.I doubt that body will protect you from a machine gun or rifle direct hit,but remember, more people were wounded by shrapnel than by bullets. And a body well might slow down shrapnel enough to make a difference.
OR you could use them as a makeshift furniture, shit happens.
If you're lucky they might even have a flack vest that wasn't too badly eaten by moths while left in storage, that would really slow down the shrapnel.

I am sure those 300,000 badly trained, poorly supplied and equipped civilians are going to turn the tide.

Maybe once enough of them needlessly freeze to death in snow hell someone could use their corpses as make shift sand bags.
Nah man, conscript spam is always a winning gameplan for the HOI4 players that make up russia's military strategy consultancy sector, and if that somehow fails they can just use cheat codes to level the playing field

You two retards are coping so hard it's unbelievable, considering this is literally what Ukraine did and led to their success. Cognitive dissonance is unreal.

lel for past 20 or so pages rushills only gloat about strikes on powerplants and civilians suffering because of it
makes you understand why exaclty they root for russia in this conflict
Pathetic moral fagging after gore posts is something else.

So Ukraine has to pay shills to post pro-Ukraine news. And you coping Ukro retards are doing it for free in this thread. Pathetic.

Oh yeah, and when is Ukraine going to start winning?

Seems "General Super Armageddon x9000" himself has just chimed in with this morale raising comment

Funnily enough he also made the comment that ukraine has thus far not directly attacked kherson despite the assurances by certain specimens that ukraine had thrown six billion conscripted NATO trannies to their deaths in failed attempts to retake it this past week alone.
"Difficult decisions can not be ruled out" sounds like a euphemism for "we might have to retreat again."

this is literally what Ukraine did and led to their success
Why does it need to be pointed out that using conscription when the country is on the brink of annihilation at the hands of an invading enemy vs. using conscription when a war of conquest against a neighboring country is getting bogged down and beginning to fail will result in two very different levels of effectiveness?

I am posting material from fighting, and any gore is of soldiers, it's a thread about a fucking war you dummy. If you support this stupid war so much, why can't you look at its effects?
And you are cheering destruction of powerplants which only makes civvies life miserable, while pretending to be the good guy here
but the main point here is that for last weeks the only russian "victory" was hitting with missiles huge fucking buildings most of which are not even defended by AA, yet you faggots celebrate this as if you were parading in Kyiv. Pathethic and sad

I am sure that there is absolutely no difference in how Ukraine employed, equipped, motivated and supplied their conscript forces, compared to how Russia is opting to do this.

Fighting in a familiar area, amongst familiar physical, urban and human terrain confers no advantages, nor does being able to draw supplies from your immediate surroundings.

Plus, there is absolutely no way in hell that someone who is defending their homes from an immediate invasion might be more motivated to fight than someone who has been dragged off of the street, put in an old uniform, given the most rudimentary training and sent to fight without basic supplies, in a war they probably want nothing to do with.

You're right, it's totally conginitive dissonance to see there being differing outcomes from mobilisation of forces in two different countries, with their own specific contexts. It's exactly the same, and on paper that means Russia is in for a big win, just like when they took Kyiv in a matter of days...

I'm sure when you plonk some untrained middle aged men on the front line, to bolster an army that was already struggling with logistics and equipment shortages, they are going to be a very effective force. They are totally going to fight to the last man, when they've not been resupplied for three days, don't have any warm kit for the winter and the Ukrainians have offered them the chance to surrender.

How does that apply to conscripts from Donetsk and Lugansk defending their homeland from NATO aggressors and Galician fascists? They've been doing it since 2014, you know.

Said someone still desperately trying to defend russia's military reputation nearly 9 months after the glorious 3 hour/3 day/3 week/3 month/3 year conquest of Ukraine began

considering this is literally what Ukraine did and led to their success.
Wait I thought that was gorillions of NATO mercenaries and special forces being shipped in en masse, as I have been reliably informed many times on this and other threads

Nah man, ukrainians have no morale whatsoever because ukraine is a fake and gay country corrupted by homorobo wheras russia is a country of stronk and moral warrior poets who still hold true to traditional orthodox values like sucking eachothers dicks on the battlefield and trading fuel and ammunition for recycled vodka on the way to the frontline

Just you wait and the 40km convoy will finally reach kyiv and the chechen kill teams will finally be able to destroy all the holograms of zelensky

So it seems that Russia builds its own UAV called Geranium 2, based on the Iranian Shahed-136.
It's said that it has a max speed of 180kmh / 112mph, has a range of 2000km/1240 miles and has a payload equating a 155mm shell.
I also read that Russia is able to build it for $8000.

The engine is MD 550 which is a copy of the Limbach 550.

Some say it's a cheap copy while others say it's an exact copy. Either way, they only have to run for about 10-12 hours so I don't think that
matters a lot.

You were able to order one yourself but they took it offline a few weeks ago.

Someone posted this screenshot where you can see its price of 5500 RMB (Chinese Yan) which is about $800 but note that the engine in the screenshot is the MD275 (275cc) and not the MD550.

>your wunderwaffe is wooden RC plane
>bought on licence from Iran

reminder that this was considered a second military power in the world just 10 months ago, with ambitions to take on entire NATO in a conventional war

I don't usually reply to people with weird delusions, but I think the answer is pretty simple in that for some of them it does.

Yet, perhaps the fact that there were reports of local governments searching for fighting age men - many of who went into hiding - to provide fodder to throw at defensive lines with equipment of 30s vintage would suggest that the popular support for being used as bullet catchers for the rest of the Russian army wasn't as popular as joining the TDF in Ukraine.

I will comprehend, why carring about civilians getting shelled is bad thin.
