Quick search of Time Disposal and they are just a general trash service, meaning that something in that house is creating and then throwing out trash. And because Barb is both unable and unwilling to toss things, there's almost certainly someone else with her, assumedly Tom and Harriet. So really no new information gained, damn.
I was surprised at where Chris's house was. I expected it be on the outskirts of a trailer park. It's actually a pretty nice suburban subdivision until you get to the Chandler cul-de-sac. Then it's cars in the yard and shitty gravel driveways. I can just imagine soccer moms hustling their children indoors as Chris power walked around the neighborhood wearing a skirt and sports bra.
My first thought was someone was helping Barb clean the house for sale. The house is probably going on the market within a year. They are definitely going to be selling at a loss because no one took care of the place in decades. Penny pincher Bob wouldn't shell out for central air on a relatively new house that definitely has the duct work for it. Nothing screams white trash like a house with 4 or 5 window AC units. Hopefully at one point those trash cans were full Legos, transformer toys, and butt plugs.
If they want to clean that house for sale they'll need a lot more than the weekly trash can, unless Tom and Harriet as stingy as Barb which is possible. If they want a chance at cleaning the hoard out in a timely manner, I'd expect to see several large trash bins outside with a crew tossing barbage all day long. All the trash can being put out means is there are still people in the house and at least one of them can throw stuff out.
I have two people in my household counting myself and we produce 1 or maybe 2 trash cans max of garbage a week with regular cans. An elderly woman would probably only produces one trash can a week. There's 5 large cans directly in front of the house, like someone is cleaning up a gross house. The reason they have the giant dumpsters on hoarders is they need to make rapid progress for the TV crew. The family helping her probably only does a little at a time because there isn't a rush on it and it doesn't directly affect them. Plus Barb doesn't have a car, luckily for the citizens of Ruckersville. So she can't bring more shit into the house. Barb can't live on her own and I don't see her being there much longer. I just want to picture the nuclear meltdown Chris will have when he inevitably violates his restraining order and goes back to the house. Only to find out all his stuff got thrown away.
There might have been a massive cleanup within the last year. It’s not like we actually have drones monitoring his house.
I actually just passed by a house in the process of being dehoarded and they did actually bring out a giant dumpster with a crew. But I do understand that it could be just two old people working at a slow pace, but don't believe that myself. The other cans out weren't moved from pic to pic, and even if they were it'd be like every other household that has recycle and compost bins.
Chris learned that Barb got in a wreck and was in the care of Tom and Harriet, wouldn't he also hear if a big clean up was happening? I don't know much about Tom and Harriet so I don't know if they'd tell Chris about that.
If they care enough about Barb then maybe, again I don't know much about them.
I could go either way on this. Would the family care to tell him they’ve cleaned up? Or would they leave him where he is to imagine what he likes? “Your mom has been in an accident, we’re taking care of her, leave her alone” is an important message he needs to hear. “We’ve thrown out the hoard” might not be, from their perspective.
Reminds me of that video from two(?) summers ago when Chris was kicking around a soccer ball outside, and at one point it rolls into one of his neighbor's yards and Chris stopped dead in his tracks - like as if he was screamed at before to stay clear the fuck off that property.
It honestly wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility. Also given there were those accounts that the main person at 14 Branchland that the neighbors hated was Chris. Bob would garden until he couldn't, and probably got along relatively well with the neighbors until he was laid up. I doubt Barb wanted anything to do with them given her history of towns folks gossiping about her at her family home.
Even still, apparently they wouldn't let her over at her house. It could have been because she was all over Tom, or it could have been Chris and his shit behavior too.
I need to see this video. I can't imagine Chris touching any sort of ball except for the balls of someone holding his Playstation account hostage during a bad hand job. I'm sure their neighbors hate them for a multitude of reasons. The Chandlers are litigious white trash. I wouldn't want their mongoloid son anywhere near my property.
That's a hell of a lot more than Cole or anyone else in the Weston clan ever did, and not something you'd do if you never wanted to see someone ever again. I think they must have been somewhat cognizant that giving Chris their address would be trouble, maybe they heard about the trolls somehow or just don't trust Chris because who does.
That's another indication Chris knew what he did was wrong, since he concocted a cover story, or didn't tell them them details about what really went down, instead them finding out about it from news.
Chris does have a habit of being unreliable with the truth. He may have told them he was on the way without telling them the whole thing, only to get close and just getting the call to stay away. If Barb did tell them he was on the way, I'm surprised she didn't lie about it. She ratted her own son out, which really, did anyone expect less out of Barbara Ann Weston?
