Joe was MIA except to eulogize Angela Lansbury, surprisingly without embarrassing himself, Nicole has still not updated us on her hospital visit, and Micah is too insane and angry for me to keep up with. EDIT: Registration for the Spring 2023 semester at Berkeley began yesterday. Looking at the Berkeley English Department's schedule of classes for Spring 2023, Joe is not among the instructors. The linked list includes both undergraduate and graduate courses.

He is not teaching classes in any other department at Berkeley. He is still on the English Dept's faculty webpage.

Interesting to note that other departments are offering classes which don't have instructors assigned yet, but not the English department.

It's possible that Joe's classes may be added to the schedule later, after registration has already begun. And/or it's possible that another teacher's existing class offering might be reassigned to Joe to teach. But neither one of these scenarios seems very plausible. It sure looks like he won't be teaching at all next semester.

It's so funny how often Joe has posed as a badass freedom fighter, but the moment he is challenged via direct debate or his home turf of Berkeley not bending to his will, he flees from confrontation.

He's clearly having some kind of sperg about something but I recall him saying something earlier to spin his upcoming not teaching as "having more time to work with graduate students" which may be (partially) legit, you'd have to look at the grad students to see if their interest areas have anything to do with Joe's but I have no idea how many English grad students would be at a school like Berkeley, I would suspect it's more than a few and that starts to sound like work.

Recall the numerous times he has insisted he doesn't see himself as a woman, per se, because he's so much smarter than the rest of the trans community. What is a woman, anyway? It's just whatever you're seen as. But now he has been denied something he wants because he's not "a woman" in certain respects, and now he's narc-injured and fantasizing about revenge instead of actually living by his code that a woman is just a firefighter. I think? I do think the absolute obsession with being something “special” sexually has made otherwise privileged people (white, male, upper middle class) find a way to justify their obsession with consumerism, punishing others, setting themselves apart, and feeding their sexual appetites non stop.

And yes this does harm real people. We are spending so much time and money and attention on this and not on actually disabled people, mentally ill people, and Native American issues— which are real.

Is this student someone who wants to outwoke the woke or someone who really cares and wants to help people?


But yeah. Joe is a planet trasher, woman hater, consumerist, privileged person who is trying to win the oppression Olympics. I don’t believe there was an oppression story this week. And I highly doubt we will ever hear more which okay, obviously, as it is made up oppression by one of the planet’s most privileged member types of the upper middle class.
