In California, Oregon, and Washington (they all use the same software systems) anyone with your driver license/ID information can go online and change your voter information (such as mailing address) and get a new ballot that overrides the one you submitted sent to your address, mail it in, and change your info back and you'll never know about it.

The only protection, as per Oregon's Secretary of State's Elections Division, is the "digital footprint" left behind (i.e. the systems log files) that they would actually need to realize something was up to investigate...and that it's a crime to do so (because that fact has ever stopped anyone).

Basically anyone with a VPN and TOR that knows an unmonitored place to have mail delivered/picked up from can change all the votes they want after buying loads of personal info of west coasters from hacking forums and never be caught.

Like the GOP gains 50+ House seats, 5+ Senate seats, and PA, WI, MI, OR etc. governorships

The Democrats had a chance at losing the House but keeping the final party split in that chamber close, keeping the Senate, winning some big gubernatorial races

They decided to campaign on abortion and 'if you dont vote for us you hate democracy and America and puppies' instead of acknowledging crime and inflation and offering solutions. 'Everything is okay except Republicans are berry ebil' is pure echo chamber strategy and they went for it

Yeah, from my extended family and coworkers, who are the definition of low-information normies, the rape they're most concerned about is the ongoing one to their finances from skyrocketing prices. The only ones for whom the groomer menace is even registering are the ones working as elementary school teachers, who hate the fact their profession is being defined by a small minority of politically radical sex perverts. That said, they think administrative bloat and the edict to "teach for the test" (i.e. hyperfocusing on maxing out rankings) is far more destructive, as it's universal.
