Been sitting on this for a little bit, but I've been keeping an eye on the Salem Moon account, and I've found a few things curious. You might be wondering "Grim, are you really so fucking autistic that you're singling someone out just for interacting with Polissa" and my answer is yes, but I swear there's a reason. If it's someone here quit you cunt, we want the normal cat ladies to get involved not us. Anywho.

As of today, Salem Moon (SM from here on) hasn't made any tweets about their cats or life, which isn't unusual on it's own. The account is pretty new, it was made in October of this year. The only thing that really caught my eye is that they only like and reply to Polissa's posts. Literally, that's it. They're following other accounts, like Jinx and the usual cat pages, Marvel creators, etc. but no comments or retweets about it. Interestingly, none of the regular beggars! So, likely found her page through the cat ladies (I feel like we would've seen more pissed cat ladies) or here.

Interestingly, the only posts she seems to interact with are Polissa's tweets to beg her to take care of the cats, their likes are public too.

Maybe I'm making shit up in my head, or maybe I'm just learning to be a good goddamn kiwi. I really do hope SM is just a crazy cat lady who found Polissa (somehow) through the catosphere, and I'm just delusional. But also, if one of you is SM, we've done this multiple times. You're just gonna alert Polissa to our existance, last time we got lucky she didn't DFE and we got a hilarious series of events from it. I like this thread too much to let it go the way of the

PL but I’ve used that same Walmart bucket to give trick r treaters candy. Gave me a much needed chuckle. One Ren Faire Fiona doesn’t deserve at the moment.

She really is entitled to peoples money. I’ve lost count on how many times she’s bitched that people had the audacity to spend their paychecks on their own food or entertainment.

(I also noticed that she said that it’ll be a week and a half before the next check in another beg earlier today. I thought she meant Joh’s check and was confused since I thought he got paid every other Thursday. No, she actually means her tugboat- next checks post on the first (a Tuesday this November).

I fear that if cat lady paid for the vet visit that Pissa will either beg for the treatment or just fund another euthanasia. That is a tactic that e beggars do- pay for my Uber, pay my visit copay, pay my medicine copay, etc. It never ends and that’s part of the grift.

Of course, right now Polly is yelling at politicians and political candidates while Gomez is in actual danger. Note that none of these people even live in Alabama. She just wanted to throw shit like she’s the baddest bitch in town. (She is, but not in the way she thinks.)

For someone whose entire lifestyle is supposedly funded via Twitter begging, she's actually shockingly bad at social media. People with a tenth of the followers have higher engagement for numerous reasons:

- They're active and involved in communities, hobbies, fandoms, media, whatever
- They use those communities to make friends. This requires not being a festering asshole, so Polissa is screwed.
- They post content that people want to see. Polissa makes terrible art, posts some awful selfies, and can't even manage to take charming cat photos. She's not friendly, amusing, clever, talented, or even just likable.

No one, not even your closest friends, wants to be bombarded with constant begging, whining, and misery. Strangers are even less tolerant of that level of bullshit. 90% or more of her social media is her never-ending woe on repeat. And she think she's shadowbanned? No honey. Everyone has put you on "ignore" because they don't want to hear it. She has nothing positive to offer anyone, except assholes like us who want to laugh at her self-inflicted misery.

Re: that Salem Moon account, I had similar suspicions to @Grim Snark - if this is someone from here then I don't think sending her money is a good idea. She's immediately glommed onto the idea of you paying her vet bill and as soon as you haven't responded fast enough to agree she's retweeting herself to get someone else to pay!

She just wants people to give her stuff. It doesn't matter what it is, she just wants it and she wants it now. You pay for Gomez this month and in a month's time she'll be doing the same thing again. I don't know the best way of getting this situation resolved but paying for that fat bitch isn't going to help in the long run.

Euthanasia is better than how those cats are being forced to live. I'm not even trying to be flippant. A merciful and painless death is preferable to being scared, in pain, and stressed about how many other animals are in YOUR territory, not knowing when you'll eat next, and finally dying in agony several days after being mauled by some shitty dog.

I would actually send money to Polissa's veterinarian to cover the cost of euthanasia for all of her animals. I do not say that lightly.
