my uninformed, pulled from my ass opinion is that slaves had the one thing troons don't have; hope. They could be freed, escape, sold to a person who wasn't a complete PoS, or simply adjust to life like a prisoner serving life would. Troons have no hope because they will, unironically, never be a woman. They're never fucking happy and they realise that and off themselves which is why troonism is a blight on the world.

Because men unironically do not despair over hostility. When a healthy mind man is under attack and has very little or even no hope, he doesn't shoot himself in the head but he stands up and fights like crazy (Sun Tzu warned about this), and even in those rare cases of committing suicide, it's an act of defiance, the kind of "I'd rather get myself before you get me". To commit suicide, you need to be crazy in the clinical sense, to despair over something you made up that's worse than reality, or most likely, to despair over yourself. The slaves (or even Jews in Auschwitz) weren't making shit up, weren't in despair over own actions and weren't fucked up in the head. Troons are fucked up in the head and in different stages of despair over self, so they give up on living despite being a priviledged class.
