According to Immigration policy, they have to have been living together for a year to establish a common law relationship. Only then can they begin the process of applying for permanent residency based on their common law status, leading to eventual citizenship. Once he's a permanent resident, he can start applying to sponsor certain family members. As we're still way into the realm of speculation here, I'm not bothering to look that up... yet.

We had a huge influx of Syrians 6 or 7 years ago now? My brain's getting old; I just know many are now becoming citizens & overall they've done well. Always some bad actors going to be mixed into the bunch when any 'group' is admitted but our airlift from back then is producing young adults determined to succeed. Many are already in well paying jobs & are supporting their parents, taking them off social assistance.

Our security procedures for vetting possible immigrants is solid - on paper but those services are also suffering a desperate shortage of skilled staff leading to delays & some slipups.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet but Chantal hasn't made any effort to stock up on her meds for the trip. This was mentioned earlier when she was expecting to travel around Christmas, giving her time to fill up, but now it seems as if she's gonna travel with whatever she has left. In some of her streams she made the claim that the medications were to treat a disorder caused by living in a western country and that being in Kuwait would make it so her antidepressants, mood stabilisers or whatever she's on, will be unnecessary.

As much as we're expecting a meltdown from not having her coping mechanisms of edibles and alcohol, we should also expect to see issues stemming from her being unmedicated. They may take longer to kick in depending on how much of a supply she has left, but I doubt she has 3 months worth stocked up.

She was later told she can take them with her as long as she has her prescriptions. In the livestream that she kicked peetz out of her room, can't remember what it's called, she showed off multiple small toiletry bags and said 1 of them she has all her meds in with the prescription labels on the boxes/ containers of meds and her paper prescription in it. The melt downs will come but it'll be from not being able to sneak off to McDonald's or burger king after spending a few hours with salad and lack of edibles.

We have no way of knowing whether that will happen except over time but long before I heard that I thought that if she does go to Kuwait we are not gonna see/hear much from her. If there is a man waiting for her that has actually gotten her to submit to the dress and attempts at modesty from half a world away, what will he be able to accomplish while physically in her presence and in a culture that will not tolerate her degenerate ways?

Posts like these sincerely baffle me. Do you actually expect someone to spoon feed you all of the content you missed while you were away or while the farms were down (never mind the fact that this was addressed prior to the farms going down)? There are endless sources other than this very well researched thread (which was viewable through tor). There is Reddit, there are reaction channels. Familiarize yourself, and feed yourself. I hate when people expect someone else to do all the work for them.

The big talking points from downtime have already been covered. Here are a few other random and decidedly less important bits:

• She is really, really hung up on that nut salsa. It's in an unmarked glass jar with a pink lid. The jar doesn't look like the farmer's market ones, but she and auntie did talk to a vendor about it. I mention this mainly because the whole salsa topic makes her very mad and should therefore not be forgotten.
• As stated, Peetz does apparently have a job interview, but he refused to say where for the obvious reasons.
• It appears Chantal drove herself to the airport. No ride from family, in other words. Make of that what you will.
• When pressed by her chat about how she'll survive without weed, Chantal says that Salad smokes shisha for relaxation. She apparently thinks she can treat any holdover anxiety with this stuff . . .
• . . . but also says that all her problems are caused by the Western world, anyway, so they'll be gone in Kuwait.
• For a geographical note, she mixes up Doha and Dubai a lot.
• And also often seems to think Dubai is a country. Might want to factor the Doha-Dubai confusion into any guesses about which flight she's on.
• She didn't know what UAE is, either.
• Her chat got her worked up about how she's not wearing her hijab in her passport photo (since it's pre-COVID). Chantal said she'd take it off for a female guard (specifying female) and said that she now wears it most of the time.
• She keeps talking about how she doesn't like to chew, which makes me wonder about the state of her teeth (beyond what we can see for ourselves). There was a particularly funny moment where she talks about cows versus snakes and feeding. She is terribly stupid, and it's little disquisitions like this that highlight that fact.
• She wants to be discriminated against so, so bad. She has said a number of times that whatever happened with the mansion was amicable, but her chat is trying to rile her into saying that they rejected her because of the hijab. To put the how quickly all this has happened into perspective, she wasn't wearing a hijab at the time of the original meeting. When they met up on cancellation day, it was the first time they'd seen her like that. [for clarity's sake, I'm just typing as if all these meetings did happen]
• The day of the cancellation was (according to her) the day she told them she was going to Kuwait for three months, getting married, and moving not only her roommate but also his mom into the mansion. The couple's son was allegedly present for the first time that day. If they really did cancel on that day, that conversation with her would have certainly served red flags. [again, just talking as if what she said actually happened, even though she can't string two non-contradictory statements together]
• She said the cats were going to the vet either last week or this week, but that obviously didn't happen. Shocker.

I know there was more I intended to post, but, now that I'm actually on the site, of course I can't remember. Chantal's speciality is having nothing going on in her life while also putting out so much soi-disant "content" that you need to be taking notes.

Finally, I'm not sure whether or not we knew this story already, but Shannon related it in one of her lives, and it needs to be shared: Chantal was sleeping with some older guy in high school. This older guy already had a girlfriend, and she found out about Chantal. Girlfriend came to their high school, found Chantal at lunch in the cafeteria (of course she was eating), and punched her in the face.

Little did that woman know that punching Chantal in the face would one day be the dream of countless people across the globe.
