I enjoy his videos more when there's more story and less raw footage. I know a lot of people like the whole JCS interrogation footage genre but personally to me it comes off as kinda lazy, because you can just add an hour of uncut interrogation with minor commentary to pad the runtime of a video.

I just unsubscribed from her Patreon before this happened. For how much she shills it she could put some actual fucking effort into making sure links work for uncensored videos. Half the time she barely uploaded content to it—probably one of the worst patreons I’ve ever subbed to.

I almost subbed a while back because it seemed like she was moving there based on the amount of editing and it was helpful. It was funny to see a few comments on the new video about "excessive censoring" and mentioning other platforms, I assume those will be ignored.

Gonna briefly sperg about YouTube thumbnails because I cannot stand when horror/crime types put their dumb mug making a surprised or shocked or whatever face in.

It must be some algorithm appeasement thing because That Chapter did it for a few episodes and maybe got shit on for it, so he reverted back to putting the people actually involved in the story.

Save that shit for vlogs and react videos.

I partially didn't get into That Chapter cause I find his British face unpleasant to look at. I'm much happier not knowing what Dreading looks like. Mainly though he puts out to much content, instead of less frequent more interesting stuff

Speaking of dreading! He's good at picking interesting topics, I think some of his best stuff is celebrity pedos, who almost all of them have had the extent of their pedophilia downplayed. He however has a terrible issue of letting interrogation/testimony carry on too long with out comment or relevancy. JCS and Matt Orchard do a good job adding interesting commentary. Explore With Us interjects a lot with context (they've been improving substantially this year) making the story play out with the interrogation.

I mean, it can vary, I'm almost through with Dreading's Cherish Perrywinkle video, that one has much briefer audio content(that does a great job pointing out how stupid Cherish's Mom is).

JCS does interesting insight into the technique of interrogation. Matt Orchard and a little of that with good humor, and in general is amazing at presenting the narrative. Explore With Us is FOIAing or some other method to dig up interrogations that weren't previously public, and has good pacing between interrogation footage and telling the events of the crime.

I'd consider those the top tier of the genre(though the JCS team has gone lolcow and decided they aren't going to make content is they can't make them kind of money kid friendly content makes with the same views)

Dreading is upper middle tier, he seems more interested in getting multiple long form videos out than more polished ones, but I think he could be as good as Explore With Us.

EDIT: SPOKE TOO SOON! He ended it with 20-30 minutes of completely incomprehensible whisper talking from the pedo. I dunno if he had subtitles, but that kinda shit is abhorrent content in such long stretches even if you can read what he's saying.
