According to this, both Amanda Warner and Brianna Wu know "Natalie", so if Natalie doesn't exist, they're both liars.

The Guardian's pretty infamous amongst UK newspapers for repeatedly spelling its name incorrectly on the front page, hence the joke. Interesting that she'd choose a UK newspaper over a US one when she's making up claims though; is it particularly popular in the US?

And a stupid move. Libel is much more punishable under British law than American.

Archive just in case Wu burns that Medium post:

"Litrerally"? Journalism degree my ass

What I find curious throughout this all is that Brianna never refers to this mysterious entity as "Natalie O'Brien" any more, but always with terms like the "GSXs administrator" or "her". Why the hell does she go so far to not even use the name in her response to the article, even though it's plain to see in the thing itself?

Huh, so on the one hand we have a tax dodging, money losing body that is losing supporters.

And on the other hand a potentially tax dodging money losing body that is losing supporters.

I can see why Wu and the Guardian Media Group get on. The Graniuad is one of the few (previously) respected big names likely to print Wu's tripe too.

Maybe he found someone to play the role (hence suddenly telling people to 3-way call him) and plans to claim Natalie O'Brien was a cover identity so Gamergate and Jace didn't know who the GSX administrator really is. "Th-that's why none of them could find any records on her!"

"Hundreds of people have met her! So many, I cannot even name a single one."

Brianna is banking on no one taking her up on the three way call offer; that people will believe that she must be telling the truth if she offered this verification. It's telling that she never used Natalie's name once in that response. She's trying to separate the name of Natalie O'Brien from "the woman we hired."

Anyone care to ask the Guardian about this?

Also, notice Wu wants to avoid anything involving photos or video, even in confidence?

The fact that Wu is so eager to talk to the accuser in private, so quickly after the story going up on medium, just shows that shit's up.

Never before has Wu ever reacted that quickly, publicly and, dare I say it, nicely, to an accusation such as this. The usual modus operandi has always been mockery on twitter &/or trying to get the offending item deleted from wherever it was posted.

A very smart move, if this person accept the call then wu will have some kind of hint of who he/she is and nail all his retards against he/she, John is trying to hide all the thing and expect that the guy says something like "No natalie exist she is a very sweet person, i added her on steam" or something among those lines

its not going to work john

WHERE IS NATALIE JOHN

In my experience, the scam artist response to a challenge is nearly always some variation of let's take this private.

They don't want it in public because they're LYING.

Yet they're so egomaniacal they think if they can haul the accuser back behind the woodshed and take them to task, they'll somehow silence them.

I like this person. Not only are they preventing Wu taking to it to private but now they're trying to get Wu to attach as many people as possible to the lie. It just takes one person in Wu's circle to say "No, I won't keep doing this. Here's the truth.."

There is no good alternative here, and by implicating the Guardian as a party to this, it should be easy to verify if they know about this and know Natalie. Worse, the only way he can not look like a liar is get someone else to play along with this ruse.

Any other option makes him a charlatan.

We should definitely be contacting The Guardian to see
A: If someone contacted her
B: Who it was
and
C: What that person knows about Natalie.

The Guardian thing is so out of left-field because she just keeps saying that they approached her to do an interview with Natalie - that doesn't mean that they know anything about Natalie that we don't, just that they have also seen her claim that Natalie exists. It's pure desperation.

Further, the fact that she claims to be saying that they reached out for an interview with Natalie in particular and not just some random social media minion of Brianna's was another misstep of hers because she's clearly trying to avoid the name Natalie so that there's nothing to specific to nail down.
