Ugly people can be beautiful. Considering it would remove peoples outlet which had rules associated to stop interference and move people off to places with no such rules. There would be a large chance that blocking KF from people who are already inclined to that behavior and were curtailing it here would lead them to join the other communities simply because they allow those things. None of them bothered to note that the timing of the near-identical pieces praising Quinn's "game" (a text-based walking simulator) roughly matched up with the time she was sucking and riding their cocks. None of them noted the industry connections of its most vocal critics (including Alex Lifschitz being a 4chan hotpocket), even though they were all there on the relevant 8chan boards. They are still there if you visit deepfreeze.it (Godspeed to whoever's keeping it online these days), but no journalist gives a shit. #NotYourShield proved there was more race and sex-based diversity on the side of the "toxic white gamerbros" than the dangerhaired dykes or proto-troons, the media completely ignored it. They deplatformed the likes of CHS and Camille Paglia rather than acknowledge there were older feminists critical of the third-wavers' knee-jerk reaction.

GamerGate was literally about ethics in gaming journalism. That's all it ever was. It was never a harrassment campaign, and the day the Wikipedia article is rewritten to reflect the truth will be a cold day in the Hell they idolise so much. Yeah I've just looked him up, he actually wrote quite a few things apart from Charlie and the Chocolate factory that have been made into films, James and the Giant Peach, The Witches etc. I've just read his Wikipedo writeup (so I don't know how accurate it is lol) but it said he was a fucking fighter pilot before he wrote children's books, must have only been published in the UK because I don't remember him when I was a kid (then again I was reading Tolkien, and Stephen King and shit by the time I was 7 lol) but if that excerpt is anything to go by his stories are pretty wholesome and good old fashioned fun with a message, not like The Fabulous Troonified Adventures of Desmond the Amazing or When Allig Took Desmonds Ass or whatever the fuck crap they are pushing as childrens books now.
