I can't take anymore of this, most of this panel is John talking over the other ACTUAL women and whining about pointless twitter melodrama, while when the other ACTUAL women try to talk about real issues.

There are a few specific policies I want to see.
With regards to transgender companies.
Facebook is a very very very dangerous place for transgender women. Almost as bad as reddit.
With the research my studio has done, Facebook does not respond to harassment. Facebook says "free speech."
Facebook's only next step is an appeal to your friends.,
I CANNOT EMPHASIZE THIS ENOUGH
If we don't have independent oversighte to overlook this, it won't get better.
We need this company to agree to outside auditing of their practices.
(I'm calling it now: Wu wants to get on this money train.)
Mitchell has collected data, and is collecting this data, and is going to continue to collect this data, but we need to do a better job collecting this data. So we need to collect data that says what is happening. Wu mutters an approval in her mike.

"if women say this is harassment, this is not free speech, they need to be able to say that." We're talking about things that risk people's safety, their mental health, their jobs.

Considering that it sounds like Munoz was there to talk about serious human rights issues and kept getting cut off by Wu so she can talk about her Internet cartoon battles, I have to praise Munoz's self-restraint for not standing up and punching Wu in her smug face.

I have a friend of mine who worked at tiwtter who told me about an internal study that women had a 0% chance of feelign like they could rise to a mangement position.
There's nothing wrong with being a cis white dude, but there's a specific lived experience you don't bring to the table.

See, now out of this panel, I would like to find out more about Munoz's work and writing. She brought heavy hitting, very good stories that are things we and governments should be more interested in, especially the staggering scale of Azerbaijani corruption and possibly interested in fighting. The other three nobodies are still fighting shadow battles that were or are being settled.
