It's unironically not the effort involved in going to get it as much as it is they worry about getting "misgendered" based on their voice at the drive thru line. I actually wish I was kidding. The idea is that someone is less likely to "misgender" them in a delivery scenario since they're face to face whereas in a drive thru line the initial encounter is by voice and it's dead easy to tell a tranny male voice from a real female.
