If I don't get at least a solid glimpse of the real Chantal that we know she is soon, I'm gonna write her off as dead to me.

It's the same as when female friends go all Fundamental Christian for a man. Just walk away and mourn them, even if the relationship fails the woman is always tainted afterwards. It breaks something in their brains.

I still have a grain of hope for Chantal, but it's fading the longer she's away.

With the recent lack of tags in her video it does raise some suspicions that he's now involved with her channel and uploading for her. Of course she could just have uploaded in a rush and forgotten, but I wouldn't be surprised for it to come out that he's curating her content.

This may be a bit autistic but something to consider is the thumbnails. Previous recorded videos, especially planned ones and not just weird rants, have decent enough thumbnails. They're generally bright, colorful, they "pop", Chantal is often separated from the background cleanly and in general they're decently composed with simple focal points complemented by text that suggests at the content without over-explaining it. However the last two thumbnails are dog shit.

Chantal is poorly cut out from the background, The edges of her image aren't aligned with the thumbnail so areas like her arm in the first one or the lower part of her body in the latest thumbnail has these really ugly cuts in them. The colors are dull and sickly. They're composed without any real order of significance. It's just a bunch of shit thrown together without a focal point. The text is the least interesting thing possible and wouldn't entice anyone to watch.

Chantal sucks at a lot of stuff but she made okay thumbnails. These new ones are either her trying to be modest by making them suck or Salad is involved in making them. I encourage people to just look at her video thumbnails now that youtube has separated out recorded and livestream content, the difference in quality is very noticeable.

She’s definitely with someone as she’s been filmed arriving at the airport and I don’t think she has the courage to ask a random to film her. Whether or not he’s still around is a mystery and there’s no real evidence either way.

I just hope the pay off is worth it because this arc has been boring so far. The Scamsion™️ was a huge anti climax and most likely as fake all along as everyone suspected. I just want a rage on the same level as Christmas last year.

Of course, even in the nonexistent chance that this is just a normal ole love marriage, completely on the up-and-up, it will crash and burn quickly. And if that happens, her reaction is going to be a lot worse than it would be if she were merely scammed. I really can't see any way for this to end without a gusher of milk.

Civil Marriage Ceremonies take place on Wed and Sundays in the Palace of Justice in Kuwait.

I'd love to know the hard and fast rules for a western woman getting married in Kuwait. A muslim man is allowed to marry a non-muslim woman (but ofc vice versa is strictly forbidden).

Basically you become legally beholden to your husband once you marry in Kuwait and need his permission to do anything. She'd be way better off marrying in Canada and that's why I think he was in such a hurry to get her to Kuwait to get married. If she marries him in Kuwait he gets total control over her travel abilities, banking, finances, etc... I don't know if due to being a Canadian citizen she could seek help at the embassy if she gets in way over her head and becomes a financial wife slave there, but the Kuwait govt ain't going to do shit for her.

I know people think it's a visa scam, but I think he would have gone to Canada if that was the case. I think this is an attempt to just take over her YT and finances by marrying her in Kuwait, milk her dry and kick her to the curb afterwards and it will all be legal under Kuwait law.. I don't know if he has any interest in fucking her too, he could be gay or have two wives already. At most the Canadian embassy might be able to help her escape the country but it won't get her money back.

Romance scammers are very adept at is taking the western financial profile of a victim and getting to max out any and all credit options to spin money for them. Just being able to access her banking/financials in Canada gives a scammer all kinds of new options for shady shit that are impossible to do from the Middle East as a Syrian citizen.

He is a Syrian in Kuwait, correct? The Kuwaitis didn't want Syrian refugees and managed send a bunch back to Syria and made the standing of the Syrians in Kuwait pre-war pretty dicey. He would not of have the advantages of a typical Kuwait citizen if he is in fact a Syrian, he'd be a second class citizen and very possibly illegal there.

Her rent and bills over the Villa were around $3K, $1.8k rent plus maintenance/garage that was around $300 more if not mistaken , plus utilities, car instalment, insurance, feeding Peetz and the cats.

I sort of wonder if Salad can leave Kuwait or travel internationally. According to new sources most Syrians in Kuwait had their passports canceled a few years back. He's probably living in Kuwait in some illegal gray area, like illegals in the USA. If he leaves Kuwait he probably can't return, or he would need to go to Syria to get a valid passport (which might also get him thrown in jail/killed) Syrians in Kuwait returning to Syria haven't fared well.

This could be the other major reason Chantel had to go to a desert hellhole. Salad couldn't come to her so if she was going to find her "soulmate" her fat ass was going to have to hurple overseas to him.

Think how bizarre it is that she traveled to him. She has a nice size condo he could easily stay in, no crazy laws that prevent men and unmarried women being together in public, no sandstorms, no sharia law, etc... She traveled to him because he can't travel to her. He probably can't travel outside of Kuwait at all. I'm not sure if marrying a Canadian in Kuwait can change that but I'm sure he knows very well what's he's doing and why.

What's the easiest way to prove you're not a visa scammer to someone you're scamming? Make it seem like you're not that interested in moving to their country but drop very subtle hints until the victim comes up with the idea. Chantal's ego already won't let her see that he scamming her and now she's got her foot in the door ofc he's in love with her.

If you're talking marriage you've already got the victim sucked in, the only spanner in the works is if they've got family and friends that might make them see sense. Chantal doesn't have friends so only her family are in the way. How will you stop them from talking to her about scams? You could isolate the victim from their family but that takes work and would most likely make the family more sus. It's easier for the victim to go back and parrot how disinterested you are in moving abroad.
Manipulation is key in scams and cons.

That's the magical thing, though. The Villa rent will not be paid (if it's even being paid now). It takes several months to formally evict someone in Canada (the exact details vary by province, but the general idea is the same). Peetz and the cats got one last big grocery haul to last them until Peetz can find his own place and figure out what to do with the cats. He can sell off any of her belongings that are worth anything and scrap the rest. That was her plan when the scamsion was still a thing.

Salad has complete control over her finances once they marry. Even if she didn't plan this, this is how it'll play out once he's in charge. You think a Muslim "real man" will be sending money back to Canada for his new wife's cuck's rent? Her YouTube channel isn't bringing in much right now, and her credit cards are probably close to maxed. Salad has until whatever savings she has run out to make the channel viable again, hence the rebranding. If it's not bringing in a decent amount by the time Chinny's out of cash, then he can either sell it or take it over completely for his shitty music videos. It's got close to 100k subs, and that's not meaningless in and of itself. If he can't make it viable -- and even if he does, under his own "brand" -- then she's no use to him. And as a Muslim man in a Muslim country with a Muslim marriage, he can divorce her quite easily and without any complications such as alimony or child support (not that she can have kids).

She's the perfect mark, and also insane. And very, very stupid. Salad fucking won the lottery with this cunt.

ETA: I don't know if this is 100% what's happening, but it makes the most sense of any theory out there. The only complication is whether or not she can actually marry him officially, or how legally-binding those fakey-fake marriages are. Or if they have to take a weekend getaway to whatever the ME equivalent of Gretna Green is so they can get married without her dad/brother/uncle being there to sign off on it.

I don't think Salad can leave Kuwait or travel internationally. According to new sources most Syrians in Kuwait had their passports canceled a few years back. If Salad didn't do mandatory military service in Syria, and since he's alive and in Kuwait he didn't, then Syria won't renew any passport for him if he applies. He could be stuck in Kuwait not matter what, so why not get a dumb fat Canadian over to milk for a few months.

I cannot figure out how he could get to Canada other than as a refugee, which has nothing to do with marriage. But Chantal can't get hubby on a plane without valid passport. I'm sure he has a plan, but I'm not sure even marriage can help with his citizenship if he's a illegal Syrian in Kuwait.

ETA: Chantal can marry Salad as a non-muslim and she wouldn't need male permission because she's not muslim, even if she's running around in a hijab.
