Has anyone making this statement ever followed up by explaining how exactly you would reverse 6 years of the rest of your body developing physically without receiving the hormones it's naturally looking for? Again, hormone blockers to my understanding are not Bernard's Watch; they don't put your whole body into cryostasis until you're ready to get on with life.

Number 2 is at least half-right though: I am absolutely terrified at the prospect of children growing into adults with osteoporosis and other lifelong debilitating physical and mental conditions as the result of a bunch of eunuch predators grooming them online.

The whole "give them puberty blockers until their brain develops and then they can decide" is really getting me. Preaching to the fucking choir here but what exactly do they think puberty is for?? Usually their troon biology (sorry, Advanced Biology) stuff is just regular dumb, but this is actually kind of concerning lol. The worst part is that when you mention it you get "well nobody is saying that," like "nobody is denying biological sex is real." Maybe that was true years ago, but denying biological sex is basically the default now. Nobody is transing kids, but puberty blockers are sooo safe and reversible. Usually I don't find slippery slope arguments very convincing but holy shit. They're just barreling down that hill while everyone else is still on the ski lift.

It's almost impressive. I'm so glad I snapped out of it. Everything is shown to you bit by bit so none of it seems that crazy to you, with a large dose of "why not just be nice." That, plus there really just weren't that many trannies out there even a few years ago. There was sort of this idea that we would never have to worry about physical advantages in sports, because what kind of trans person would seek out that sort of attention and controversy? They just want to live their lives. Anyone bringing it up was just clutching pearls over something that would never happen. No high school boy would pretend to be trans just to get into the girls' bathroom, because who the fuck would want to be seen as trans. The social consequences of being transgender were still enough of a deterrent for a while. It turns out that all of that went right out the window when it became genuinely trendy.

I have plenty more thoughts on tranny ideology from both inside and outside, but I won't waste everyone's time by explaining the ins and outs of that specific kind of crazy when I can just show you!
