The people Tranniv is suing appear to be part of the Simon Fraiser Student Society Independent Electoral Commission, a group of students who work part-time to make sure everyone's following the rules of the Student Society's election.

They've had tons of protests against them, had people forced out and even faced criminal investigation.
Somewhat recently there was an absolutely nutso dude named Kayode who used to work with the student counsel, bur came back after graduation to stir shit. The sfss, since he had friends there, tried to make it into a racial issue because of course they did. Luckily video and personal testimonies of kayodes bs led people to tell the sfss to shut up.
They've also been accused of doing elections and having votes about issues without informing the student body.
So long story short, I'm amazed yaniv wasn't elected
