The other Honeycomb investors listed on Crunchbase that I can see without signing up are Headline, Storm Ventures and Merian Ventures if anyone wants to look further.

I'm not sure how much they'll care to hear about the Fong drama, but seeing what these different groups are invested in tells me they are interested in the success of their investments. They probably want to see positive returns on their money. Think of different industries where you can easily explain the exorbitant expenses: manufacturing and logistics, for example. They cost a lot of money to operate, and for good reason. Now look at Honeycomb: a company of 101-250 people according to Crunchbase, offering a product that's included for free with other services from more established, professional service providers. These niggers are getting MILLIONS for this. Does it really take MILLIONS for a bunch of stay-at-home faggots to do what they're doing? What's costing so much? Is there waste to be trimmed? Will Honeycomb ever be profitable? Even if investors aren't interested in Donger's deplatforming campaign, they'll probably be curious to find out just where the fuck their money is going.

Shit like this is why I have to throw a little doubt on @Cuckoman's assessment of Elliot's capabilities as an SRE. Not doubting the impression he had, but rather the potential reality behind it.

I have worked with so many people in the industry just like this. They adopt the dictionary of industry terms and seem to present an understanding of concepts (that would fall apart under examination), but they somehow use a combination of charisma, clout, and social skills (and probably by leveraging the false confidence gained through extreme narcissism) to worm their way into never actually having to prove themselves with demonstrations of applied skill, instead always managing to delegate complex tasks, then taking the credit (or laying the blame on the delegate if there is a failure), and keeping all the stupid-simple and/or skiddy/copypaste stuff for themselves so they look productive on paper. All the while, they are brown-nosing people up the chain of command and making sure they are teachers pet (one of my greatest pleasures is diplomatically shutting down my direct reports who try to cozy up to me at work). If you somehow trick them into sitting down in front of a command line, whether it's *nix, BSD, one of the many network appliance OS's, or anything else, they start to falter and their total lack of applied experience starts to show, and they come up with an excuse as to why they need to leave or work on something else (I've had some relevant specific experiences here that have resulted in having to fire people for lying on their resumes). I'm sure there are people like this in almost every industry.

I have no doubt that Gong Gong was/is very good at sounding competent (he even sounds competent on Twitter unless you have relevant expertise in the same field and know exactly how much he is sniffing his own farts) but yet his only public examples of real work-product have been laughably novice-level.
