I'm under the impression that Norwegian law prevents carriers from doing anything except kicking the can down the line. Correct me if I'm wrong, but are ISP's not treated as a utility in Norway, i.e. they cannot cut off service to any of their customers (except for bad faith non-payment of bill) without a legal order or if they can prove that the customer is a network security risk? (Source of DDoS attacks, hacking, etc). I feel like I read this somewhere but I definitely could be wildly wrong or thinking of a different country.
In any case, I'm pretty sure that GDPR and other EU law only requires Altibox to forward removal requests and legal requests to the actual content host i.e. Null, and it'll be up to EU regulators to go after Null if they believe they actually have the legal grounds to do so. How many cows are EU citizens anyway? Seems like it would be an easy fix if EU regulators actually get a hard-on for Null - just ban EU citizens from discussion.
