I live in SW Ohio, so I'm not gonna disagree about the bleak flatlands of urban decay to the north. But the Cincy area might as well be another state.

The Dems are going to get wrecked in Ohio, but that's less because the state GOP is good and more because the state Dems are terminally retarded. The last good one was James Trafficant. They should have picked Cranley to run against DeWine, he was the least retarded Mayor Cincy has had in a long time, but they picked the Mayor of Dayton instead. It's like they want to lose.

Libertarians are retards and would/will find a reason to be contrarians to the point of compromising all of their rights. Any political ideology relying on the idea of 'being left alone' will be raped and crushed by one that does not. If someone doesn't see this at this point in the game, they won't until the knife is at their throat.

I mean, its in line with what I expected but I was fairly pessimistic about any sort of red wave so kept that to myself. Still, looks likely that the Senate and House both will flip red, in a map where the Republicans had the disadvantage on the Senate. So a good result for future things. Just not the great celebration so many here would have liked.
