If it goes into overtime, the Democrats win. That's why their new strategy is to push it into overtime.

That's also why the founding fathers explicitly forbid the vote going into overtime.
They were doing the match on the Charlie Kirk show, and their math was right in line with the dumps. Lake is going to win, she is getting 68-73% of these massive dumps, it is like the primary all over again. Masters has a bigger hill to climb but he too is getting 65+% plus of these dumps. They basically said worst case scenario which Blake goes 60/40 on these dumps, he would win by about 12k votes if there are 650k votes left. According to NBC and the AZ office, they have around 900k votes left.
Well, one of you is going to be right. Time will tell which one it will be.

In other news Nevada looks like it has a decent chance of pulling Red in the Governor and Senate race as well. Has the Dirty Harry Reid machine finally fallen apart, or am I huffing hopium? Time will tell on that too.
_
As an aside, can anybody tell me what is going on in the Oregon Governor's race? Of all the races out there that I was told was going to be close, I completely disregarded it as being too optimistic.

Hard to say. PL: used to live in OR and each county is either VERY red or VERY blue (but a ton of counties are only 60% ish counted). I'm just happy that carpet-muncher Brown will no longer be governor...

Also, who TF is that in 3rd place?!

Americans don't favor total bans on abortion outside of a small segment of the Religious Right, but I've never heard a Republican come out and say "I'm pro-choice but believe in reasonable restrictions on abortion." When the vast majority of Republicans outright say "I'm pro-life and believe life begins at conception", you can't blame low-info voters (i.e. most people) for assuming they all want abortion banned.
Fair enough, and what you're referring to is what I was talking about WRT messaging on the abortion issue.

A surprise, damn, I didn't expect Nevada to have even a red lead, though I'm not holding out hope for a win. I'm not gonna huff Hopium like I did in 2020

So, for a none American, explain; What happens if the Americans take the House or the House and Senate, what makes having both secured so important and what would the Republicans do in both scenarios (Securing House alone or house and Senate)

A modest win is a win... but the MAGA candidates who did prevail must kneecap McConnell and McCarthy however they can.

Purge the rot from within. This is the ultimate lesson of this election.
A lot of this falls on McConnell, not Trump. McConnell hates Trump and wants him gone. He pulled out a lot of funding that many of the Republicans in tight races needed in the last minute in order to help his friend Murkowski in her tight race which left many of the Republican candidates in awkward positions. If Murkowski wins and Trumps candidates lose McConnell can proudly say that Trump is no longer the face of the GOP and gets to keep his seat as Senate minority leader as many in the GOP stated if the Republicans took the Senate then they wanted McConnell gone. Amazing how one mans lust for power and hatred cost the Republicans a easy election. McConnell needs to go.

Its never over till its over..... that being said, this election has been a mixed bag. Interesting trends, democrats will argue that voters chose Our Democracy™ but Im gonna say the abortion issue was bigger than I thought it was and drove turnout with a dash of ballot stuffing here and there.

It's because the Dems are better at propaganda; they've pushed the overturning of Roe V Wade as the first step to a National Abortion ban and propagandise every small case of abortion being mildly obstructed as the "First step to literally Gilead!!!", and Zoomers, being retards who follow the simplest explanation, fell for it.

Give it a few years, they'll become jaded politically and realise every election isn't the "Most important election of our lifestimew1!!!" and will turn up to vote less as shit continues to go downhill. Zoomers have a subservient mindset because most are young and aren't working, so the State replacing their parents is pretty natural for them.

This saggy puppet creature deliberately self-sabotaged the Republican Party, Pence McConnell, and Republican backstabbers, obscure or well-known, need to fall in line or be purged, I think a more "Moderate" MAGA platform is achievable and important, but it can only be done when fucks like this are gone.

There's also the all or nothing mindset the Right in America has. Dems get a slight win, move the needle 1% in their favor and they treat it as a win, the Reps get a win in their favor, but not as big as they'd like, and half the party is slashing their wrists and downing entire bottles of black pills and proclaiming doom forever. It's not a winning attitude. You claw anything back from the Moloch worshipping death cult of stupidity that's the American Left that's a cause for celebration. You don't win in American politics by the single, decisive battle going your way, you win by clawing it back bit by bit. It's not like a bigger majority would get much done until the old GOPe is purged anyways.

And I know I've been a bit of a broken record about Glubb cycles before, but we're probably just hitting the starting parts of the real decline phase, it's gonna a bit to get to the other side and restore sanity. We are enormously lucky in that our neighbors are leafs and beaners.

Although if you want to see the effects of the Chinese psi-op known as Tik Tok, those youth voting numbers should give a bit of a clue. Even a good chunk of Millennials are better, the utter retardation of Zoomers should be your real black pill. It can be fixed, only you can give them the bullying that they should have gotten from their peers.

Republicans didn’t have a plan. In fact, they actively avoided developing a plan. So voters had no idea what the fuck Republicans were going to do about the issues facing them like inflation. So people may hate what’s going on but the alternative provided them absolutely nothing.

That is why they lost key opportunities. The suburban burger prizes stability more than anything and without any kind of messaging that assures it, I’m not surprised the elections turned out the way they did. Also the demographic realities are starting to face some districts. The failures of getting immigration under control is going to have consequences as well.

I have said before, and I am sure I will say it again. The GOP needs to enact MAGA style reforms, as well as continue to push decentralization or the country will be at war with itself within 20 years. I do not mean this as a hyperbolic metaphor either. Regional political alienation is reaching level not seen since The War Between the States. I prefer reform, civil wars are the worst thing that can happen to a country, short of a communist dictatorship.

The GOPe needs to get with the program, but their problem is threefold:
  • A "Fuck you, got mine" mentality. In other words, greed. The gravy train and long established systems of patronage are sacrosanct to them.
  • The thought that even if the worst of revolutions or insurgencies happen, that they will be safe.
  • Being utterly fucking retarded.
Will the GOP break itself before allowing genuine reformers to succeed? I don't know, but they sure are trying to fuck that particular dog to death.
