Republicans are too weak on 2A issues. I had to hold my nose to vote for Trump in 2022 because he went after bump stocks. It helped that Jorgensen was a nightmare. MTG told Tim Pool she was super pro-gun but when he asked about repealing the NFA, she didn't know what he was talking about. When I hear a republican talk about supporting gun rights, I assume he's talking about my great grandfather's deer rifle.

The libertarian party is going through a MAGA style swamp draining right now as the Mises Caucas is taking over the party, and they're much more aligned with libertarian voters than the dog shit the party has been putting up over the last 30 years. If they succeed, it will probably draw even more votes from republicans. My suggestion would be to try and make some concessions to get libertarians on board, but I know it's much more likely that the main parties would be more likely to just try and kick them off the ballot.

Ron Paul is an absolute joke but Romney is a RINO. I never voted for him, I think I voted L in that one.
