Orbiter DarksydePhil Fan General - Infighting and Cringe Galore 2 (Moderators, et al)

It may be possible match up account numbers and balances to figure out how much of this is debt that was going to be discharged by his previous chapter 13 begruptcy vs. how much he accrued since then but frankly I don't care enough to do that.
Timbo and Phail are prime examples for why debtor's prisons need to be brought back
You know what? Let's have some fun and see just how much debt Timbo racked up after his last bankruptcy!
My methodology here is extremely simple: I will go through the creditors listed in the 2022 bankruptcy and compare them to the creditors listed in the 2020 bankruptcy. If a creditor is only listed in the 2022 bankruptcy, I will count that as debt post-second bankruptcy; if a creditor appears in both filings but Timbo's debt to them increased in the 2022 bankruptcy I will only count the difference as debt post-second bankruptcy.

2.1 Internal Revenue Service: The total owed has changed from $915.00 priority to $854.29 priority and $94.51 non priority for a total of $948.80. This is new debt of $38.80 and makes me think he got penalized for late, missing, or partial payments.

4.1 Achilles finance LLC - no account number but the amount owed is identical
4.2 Antigo veterinary clinic - account number and amount owed are identical
4.3 Applied Bank - new debt of $300.00
4.4 Aspire - new debt of $350.00
4.5 Aurora Healthcare and 4.6 Capital Bank account numbers and amounts owed are identical.
4.7 Cash Advance Now - new debt of $700.00
4.8 Cash Factory USA - account number and amount owed are identical
4.9 Certified Recovery - no account number but the amount owed is identical
4.10 Charter Communications - account number and amount owed are identical
4.11 Check N Go - no account number but the amount owed is identical
4.12 Consumer Cellular - account number and amount owed are identical
4.13 Cottonwood Financial Wisconsin LLC - no account number but the amount owed is identical
4.14 CoVantage Credit Union - account number and amount owed are identical
4.15 Credit Ninja - new debt of $2,500.00
4.16 Credit One Bank - new debt of $496.00
4.17 DirectTV, 4.18 Emergency Physicians, and 4.19 Frontier Communications - account numbers and amounts owed are identical
4.20 Genesis FS Card Services - new debt of $600.00
4.21 Integracredit and 4.22 Jefferson Capital Systems - account numbers and amounts owed are identical
4.23 King of Kash - new debt of $900.00
4.24 LVNV Funding LLC - no account number but the amount owed is identical
4.25 Midland Funding LLC and 4.26 Money Key - account number and amount owed are identical
4.27 Net Credit - new debt of $1,200.00
4.28 Opportunity Financial, 4.29 Plain Green Loans, and 4.30 Progressive Insurance - account numbers and amounts owed are identical
4.31 RSVP Loans - new debt of $3,000.
4.32 Security Finance and 4.33 Speedy Cash - account numbers and amounts owed are identical
4.34 Susan Schuelke - new debt of $268.58. Based on a quick Google search Susan Schuelke is an attorney who specializes in debt consolidation under Wisconsin state law (so her services were not part of this bankruptcy filing). We'll never know for certain but I suspect she was unable to do much for Timbo since he still has a large number (9) of new creditors and the two largest (RSVP Loans, Credit Ninja) are predatory lenders.
4.35 TDBank USA / Target Credit and 4.36 Wisconsin Public Service - account number and amount owed are identical
Add them all together and Timbo accrued $10,353.38 in additional debt after filing bankruptcy in 2020. This is insane and I'm near certain he will file another Chapter 7 once he becomes eligible again in mid-2023.

Third times the charm. Big ups on the info.

And the kicker is that none of the money he paid towards his second bankruptcy counts. Based on the trustee's report of the 2020 bankruptcy he paid $16,700 on a proposed $28,800 payment plan, but based on the filing for the 3rd bankruptcy he still owes them the exact same amount he did back in 2020 - that $16k is just gone forever. For all functional purposes Timbo is paying $16k to get rid of an extra $10k in debt, even kiting credit cards would have been a less exceptional fix to his financial problems.

At first I thought people were just joking about Timbo getting a 3rd bankruptcy; however, it has now officially come to fruition. All you had to do was stop tipping Phil on credit cards, save that money, and actually start paying your bills/paying down your debts, Timbo. Now look at you. You're following in your pig-lord's footsteps once again, and you are probably STILL tipping Phil on sock accounts to this very day. Get some fucking help man.

Ayy, you learned how to project from Phil.

When is your first? I want to plan a party.

At what point do the courts say "You clearly haven't learned your lesson"

Holy shit.
You're coming from the very noble, very naive belief that the bankruptcy system is there to not just get rid of debt, but to drill out whatever financial bad behavior/misconceptions about credit got the debtor in unbearable debt in the first place so that s/he does not need to file a second time.

This is not how the system works - the long version is in the spoiler but the short version is, the whole system is fucked up and only "works" in the sense that it keeps people from living on the streets.

I was not able to find the required pre-bankruptcy credit counseling online and I'm not about to hire an attorney just for internet lulz but you only need to see how DSP acted post begruptcy to know it's pretty much worthless. Even after a bankruptcy that was indisputably due to excessive spending + interest on credit cards, he is still desperate for unsecured credit because he thinks it is free money and does not understand why paying minimums only was such a bad idea. That's the first major problem, the counseling meant to prevent repeat bankruptcies is so ineffectual that it can't even convey basic concepts like credit or compound interest.

The second problem is the credit industry (not just banks but payday lenders): Unless the debt was clearly one-time (like a debtor going bankrupt covering a now-deceased parent's medical expenses), anyone going for bankruptcy is probably too financially inept to handle unsecured credit properly. But that's not how the banks see it - they aggressively target recently discharged bankruptcy debtors because they know these people want to live above their means, are liable to accrue interest, and for Chapter 7 debtors there is no way to discharge the debt via another Chapter 7 filing until 7 years from the previous one (Chapter 13 does not have a waiting/cooldown period but it's less likely to hurt creditors because the Chapter 13 discharge includes a payment plan which creditors can veto). It's immoral and predatory but it's 100% legal and banks do it because these people are some of their most profitable customers. Hell, our own Ruin used to work at a group home for developmentally disabled adults and one of his responsibilities there was to intercept and destroy credit-card offers for the residents. It wasn't just random luck either, the banks knew that exceptional individuals would spend recklessly because they couldn't know better and one of the disability programs would cover whatever charges they made. When people were rooting for the banks to fuck Phil over in the bankruptcy + foreclosure sagas it wasn't because anyone thought they were run by saints, it's because Phil was squaring off against some of the most vile and extortionate companies in the United States.

The third problem is that the government has no reason to improve things - the bankruptcy code gives top priority to tax debts and only allows them to be discharged in narrow circumstances. If I understand this page correctly the three criteria are that the debt must be at least three years old, all tax returns in the intervening years must have been timely, and the debtor must have made good-faith efforts to pay the debt (i.e. no fraud or evasion). Since the typical IRS payment plan is 3 years this is equivalent to saying federal taxes can never be discharged, even if the debtor cannot reasonably pay them. Since the government is all but guaranteed to get paid, it has no incentive to change the law either.

Don't act like we don't know who you are, Clark.

And where are the damn pictures of your new puppy? @actually is still waiting for those, man.

So how's he going to slime his way out of this one?

This is what? The third time?

So how's he going to slime his way out of this one?

This is what? The third time?
If you mean Timbo yes this is the third time he's gone bankrupt but he's not sliming out - he's paying $28,800 on an installment plan plus another $1,500 in filing + attorney's fees and an indeterminate amount in court costs to discharge about $26,000 in debt. From a practical standpoint this is pretty fair - the creditors get all their money back and then some, just with less interest than if he had kept paying minimums on those accounts.

Now for the part that can only happen in the Vortex: Timbo paid about $16,700 towards the installment plan from his second bankruptcy but it looks like he can't get the money back or count it towards his debts because he (well, his attorney) voluntarily dismissed the entire thing so that he could re-file with debts he incurred in the last ~2 and a half years added on.. If this is true then the total cost of his bankruptcies is $28,800 in payments + $1,500 in attorney's + filing fees from this bankruptcy plus just under $21,300 from his previous bankruptcy for a total of about $51,500 not including court costs. Let that sink in, Timbo's "genius" plan of going for a third begruptcy will end up costing him about double what he owed in the first place.

The only debt he slimed out of was the debt he discharged in his first bankruptcy back in 2016: There he did discharge about $40,000 in debt (I say "about" because some of it was non-dischargeable tax debt and secured debt he reaffirmed) in exchange for a few thousand dollars in court fees. Add all three of them together and Timbo has paid at least $52,000, probably closer to $55,000, to discharge about $66,000 in debt - he effectively weaseled out of $11,000, that's a decent amount of money but still chump change compared to Phil's fraudulent bankruptcy ($140k-170k depending on which value of the Connecticut property you use) or CWC's uncollectable credit card debt (of all the times for Sonichu.com to be down....).

Sources:
Filing for his first bankruptcy
Filing for his second bankruptcy
Voluntary dismissal of his second bankruptcy
Trustee's final report from his second bankruptcy
Filing for his third bankruptcy. Note that many of the creditors are the same as the second one, down to the account number and amount owed. This is why I believe none of the payments from his second bankruptcy counted towards his debt.
Proposed payment plan in his third bankruptcy. PDF Page 2 reports payments of $800/month, Page 1 reports a plan length of 36 months (3 years), and Pages 3 and 7 do the math for us and report a total cost to Timbo of $28,800.

The only way to take this is all the way to the padded room Cucken.

TeamIcoGamer has become pretty active again recently so I decided to look into him since it seems no one else has.

It's definitely possible that TeamIcoGamer, or TIG's Youtube account was compromised and sold to one of Phil's paypigs as a sock because some things are suspicious.

TIG is/was an Italian man living in Malta whose name is derived from the Japanese development studio Team Ico, which developed Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian. TIG was such a big fan of Team Ico and its director, Fumito Ueda that he operated several fan sites for a few years from about 2006, including an online "magazine" with articles and interviews focusing on the director, his studio and his games. He was supposedly even writing a book about the games in 2010, but his websites had gone dark by 2011. He was still active on Neogaf posting under the name Issun23 until last seen in 2016.

Has to be a funny coincidence but his DeviantArt account has 3 watchers, including one "dark-maggot". I swear I've heard that name multiple times on DSP's streams.

His current subscription to DSP was created on this date:

Darkmaggot is a longtime fan that has also provided fanart for DSP in numerous occasions.

That's a really cool tool, is it available on a public website?

So apparently he donated hundreds of dollars and became a member the day after DSP enabled memberships.... Without even being subscribed.

Uh huh.
Yes, what I'm using is a custom page, but after searching online, this public website also seems to do it:
https://xxluke.de/subscription-history/

It uses the same thing in order to work (the YT API), and what's retrieved is the datetime in ISO 8601, but that website formats it in its own way and takes out the hours, minutes, seconds and fraction of seconds.

You obviously don't need this. If you wanted, you could get the data directly from the youtube/v3/docs on the developers page even without a key, but I guess the above makes it easier.

Ladies and shitposters, Timbo's 3rd bankruptcy has reached its conclusion with the Court's approval of his proposed installment plan. He will have to pay $369.24 biweekly (just over $800/month) for next three years, all because he is as financially illiterate as the Pig.

Let's all give @timboslicegb a round of applause! Not many of us are on a first-name basis with bankruptcy judges but he's getting there!
