Harley Quinn? More like Triple Chin you oblong motherfucker
I'm not worried about the triple chin, I'm worried more about the fact that Terra looks like an uneven and lumpy car seat cover

Dude makes 18.5k a year? Is there any sort of personal information Fire will not publish for the entire world to see on the internet?

lol what the fuck

i get he's doing independent educational consulting as opposed to being on the staff of, you know, an actual school, but that's still crazy low even by teacher salary standards (esp. given that he allegedly works with special needs students). makes me wonder what he actually does in an average day at school.

Hit on students, get rejected, cry on facebook, get made fun of by us.

He's got a fellowship with a non-profit. In Chicago, the fellows work with 9th and 10th grade students.

They pay a stipend of $18,500 for people to work for them for one school year.

This is how the organisation describes what the fellows do.

Fellows should arrive no later than 15 minutes before the first bell and be prepared to work with students when the bell rings. Sites may have morning meeting scheduled earlier as well, and then have prep time before the start of tutorial. You typically tutor 2-3 periods before having a break/lunch and then continuing with the rest of the day. Some teams travel to a different site in the afternoon, with time built in for travel. At the end of the school day there are site meetings and PD sessions.

Yeah, I definitely wasn't impressed with that figure. That's like first job after high school income. I suppose that's why he ended up in a van down by the river with that other weirdo who was posting here after he broke up with his fiance.

oh shit, good looking out. it's one of these deals! i know of some in the NYC area but it's not surprising that it's all over now

these programs are typically scraping the bottom of the barrel, talent-wise, because anyone who is moderately employable as an educator will find more fulfilling/better-paying employment just about anywhere else. to be honest i don't really even care about this guy's weird history so i don't know the specifics of why he got booted from teaching in florida, but if he really has a valid license and experience then it is quite telling that his only option is a "fellowship" in which you seem not to perform any actual planning, instruction, or assessment, which is like... what you do as a teacher.

The organisation he works for also runs programmes in NYC.

He's got a valid Florida licence but he doesn't seem to have a Chicago one. I seem to recall him asking for money to get that sorted at one time, and he undoubtedly wants it in his tranny name so it probably won't get done until after his name change - which he claims he can't currently afford.

I've never come across any confirmation of why he got fired in Florida. That he was fired has been confirmed and that his employer was contacted is something he claimed, but I don't recall him ever explicitly stating that he was fired because his employer was contacted. You'd think he would because he publicly whines about fucking everything but neither has he publicly complained about Neph naming his employer, even though he was whining about her "dead naming" him around the same time that happened.

i was always told that IL was a harder state to get license reciprocity to work in because part of the required coursework for certification in IL involves taking a class on TESOL, so he'd (in theory) need to take a night class or something in addition to the $$$ he'd shell out for fingerprinting, re-licensure, and whatever other meaningless fees they want to charge him. my guess would be ~$200 for that shit and idk how much a night class at a local community college or online would be. but hey, 18.5k/yr, i guess.

tbh his arrangement works out okay for him given those circumstances, since he can't get a real job without a valid license. still kind of sad
