Just watched Phil's rant about that other mysterious youtuber and holy shit.

He starts off being relatively respectful of the guy and by the end of it he is saying shit that would get you punched in the face.

Beginning: This guy is known for being pretty good at games. He has a huge fanbase, lost of views. Died so many times on the first boss that he had to edit it down.

Phil REALLY needs to learn when to shut the fuck up. He made his point with the mysterious bad GoW player and he should have stopped there, but he has to keep talking until he completely forgets what he was saying and now that mysterious guy is the enemy for some reason. The sucking at games thing is the very bottom of the list of why people hate you Phil. The number one reason is because you are a piece of shit.

He continues to play games to have something to blame when a stream does badly for him. If all he was doing was constant talking at his audience with nothing else, he'd have to take responsibility for when it doesn't make him money, meanwhile he can blame it on the game. It's also the only thing he can do to attract new spergs to him, by playing the games that they might be hyped for.

And if his tweeting about GOW2 is anything to go by, he wants recognition for his "gaming skills", especially given that he still thinks that his biggest sin is that he was "bad at Vidya".

He don't even know at this point. The last week he's really dialed in the contradiction in regards to gaming.

I love video games, but i dont have the same investment that i had when i was younger. I could sit down hours upon hours playing, now I can barely play for like 3 hours before i stop(this is even with games im excited for) As you grow order you have more things to do and less time for hobbies...although if you love the hobby you can always make time for it even if it is al little.

I bring this because dsp, someone whose life basically amounts to playing video games everyday, must be to some extent getting tired or straight disinterested at said games. Yall know that he basically abhors challenge in games and prefer games that basically play themselves or are as simple as go from point A to B. I would dare say that he doesnt have fun unless hes gambling or under the money buff. Im not even 40 yet and im already like this with video games, imagine dsp who plays videos games all day everyday. Truly a miserable existence.

One of Phil's only redeeming qualities was being entertainingly shit at games. I think most of us would love to see more Half-Life/GTA III-tier shitfests instead of the digital Ambien he pumps out these days.

On a recent stream Destiny revealed he had been emailing DSP about doing it, but that the communication had fallen apart or that DSP stopped responding.

It’s mostly true that he’s lost his love of games, you can tell just by the insistence on react streams and the “podcast.” However, if you believe what he says, he still had fun with games like MultiVersus (until it became obvious that no one wanted to tip) and he definitely seems to have a good time destroying people worse than him at Street Fighter. There’s also games like EarthBound that are mostly easy and he can just read out dialogue for half the stream.

Post Leanna pre Kat was the best DSP saga imo the dude was saying insane shit like he has never done laundry before and when he did it he was up all night because of it.

This is why he married her so quickly. DSP is basically mentally handicapped and needs a caretaker. Its also why he's real uptight about female characters, character creators, and romance questlines in video games. He doesn't want to risk upsetting her in the slightest. Phil did mention Destiny during his Metokur rant if I remember correctly and he spoke about him in an unusually positive way.
