Welp get ready for the return of nonstop infinite Trump bashing from every angle.
Like it ever stopped or left.

In the case of Twitter, the odds have supposedly been evened. Gonna be a lot harder to astroturf anti-Trump trends with Elon watching closely for the botnets.
I mean, the bots was a big thing the deal to buy was hung up on.

I truly want to be excited for Trump 2024, since policy instincts are still the best in the field. But the internal rot within the GOP leadership hasn't been corrected yet. Hell, it seems that, in the short term, they've been rewarded (even with endorsements by Trump) for screwing over their constituents and possible president's agenda.

Two years is a long time for small reforms and chipping away at their power structure, but how sure are we that Trump will use his sway to dehorn the RINOs? I suppose we'll find out.

If DeSantis takes the bait and runs, he'll win the primary and suspiciously not get wrecked by enormous voter fraud. People will accept it once the "they ran out of money this time guys!" bullshit line of reasoning rears it's ugly head again, and he'll go on to be republican Obama. If he doesn't, well we've seen just how much the GOP is willing to do to make sure that their party remains a neocon-led party of the establishment.

The realistic view of it at this point, is that the fraud will be allowed to continue as long as the GOP is controlled by establishment fucks, and as long as it continues to be deleterious to populist candidates and populism itself. The party leaders very fucking clearly do not care if they're whittled down to running as small-town mayors if it means it denies populism a seat at the big boy's table.

Does that sound bleak? Sure, but sometimes reality just is bleak. And calling a sober assessment of just how fucked things are "dooming" won't accomplish shit, to anyone of that bent. When fraud was brought up in the context of these midterms by some, like myself, being called a "doomer" didn't prevent the fraud, now, did it?

At this point, America is probably either heading for CIVIL WAR! (Pim Tool's belief, not mine) or a Soviet-style collapse where the Union simply collapses from everyone lying flat in disgust. Everyone gets poorer as a result, yes even Red States as they are mostly inland states that have no ports ready for int'l trade. The West Coast, God willing, collapse into Brazilian states desperately trying to manage the welfare for their massive population while stupid laws squeeze businesses out of the state. After all, no Fed bailout means those billions of dollars have to come from somewhere.

"No one fights, everyone quits."

-G.I. Joe I guess.
At this point it's Trump 2024, civil war 2.0, or balkanization. I can't accept any other options.

Ayup. Orange Man's a-runnin'. He doesn't need to convince me again to pick him for 2024.

Can't wait to see the knives come out from the MSM. They'll be harping on "MUH JANUARY SIXTH" endlessly, even as we spend the next two years in another Great Depression and WWIII kicking off all under Sleepy Joe's watch.
Yeah, after midterms, I'm burned out of Trump. The GOP is splintering between MAGA and the establishment. Even so, it's ripe with grifting instead of planning solutions for obvious issues.

Meanwhile, the Democrats are radicalizing themselves with each passing day with a racist, senile President as a figurehead. Poetry in the making.

I just want one person on the democrats to be stripped of committee assignments. Schiffty, Big Booty Latina, Swallowswell, that's a bare minimum that can be done in retaliation for MTG. I think this was the reason MTG came out in support of McCarthy, they made a deal for a scalp and she gets subpoena power for January 6th stuff.

Elise Stefanik won as conference chair against Byron Donalds, a good MAGA guy. Con Inc. is trying to say this is a bad thing but she's not a full RINO, a NE Republican who delivers results, she and Lee Zeldin helped flip a lot of NY house seats. She delivered, compared to Tom Emmer who got elected as Whip despite barely winning the House. I like Byron but you can find a better place for him on a committee.
Last week the media were melting down because McCarthy said MTG would get back her committee assignments when they took back the House. I don't mind Stefanik, some things do bug me about her but her defense of Trump during impeachment 1 and endorsing him for 2024 were very good and I don't put her in the same league as McConnell or Lindsey Graham.

Even though one should be intrigued over the fact that Trump deserves a second chance in the White House, why is it that the recent midterm elections are making people uneasy about where the U.S. is heading?
Because the republicans did self-sabotage. All they had to do is say inflation bad and we'll fix it.
