Snowflakeshoe0nhead / June Lapine / June La Porta & Armoured Skeptic / Gregory "Greg" Fluhrer - A poor man's Boxxy: rejected by Vaush, disowned by /pol/ for burning coal, sleeps in a dog's bed surrounded by trash, and her ex-boyfriend.
I honestly think all these whiny assholes should be forced to live in a wood stove heated cabin for a month in winter to get some perspective in their life. Just forcing them offline for a month would do wonders for their mental health
I never followed Greg closely, so I'm late to all this news. I feel even less sympathy for him than June. No one should be surprised about this spiral. All the signs were there when these two were dating.
A 20-something-year-old girl worshipping her boyfriend is nothing new. But a 30-something-year-old man leaning into the "worship" is pathetic. Watching Greg gloat about their dynamic was hilarious. The way this nigga would parade around in suits and post pictures where he towered over June. It felt like watching a scripted sitcom. He really thought that shit would last forever.
And now we're all supposed to cry because Greg is nearly 40 and has nothing to show for his life. An able-bodied man who REFUSES to get a job or leave his hedonistic ways behind.
There's no way this guy actually eats a bullet. At least not yet. I see another 5 years of sad-boy posting in his future. Ending his life would mean ending all the attention that he feels so entitled to.
i thought the reason she's always bald is because she keeps obsessively ripping out her own hair due to some mental illness? i don't think any possible advancement in science can help with that
Call me autistic or whatever, but Greg's recent "History is a Lie" series was pretty cool if you're into conspiracy stuff, for lack of a better phrase. It's really a shame. There's so many sycophants in his comments and at some point he started talking like a cult leader and calling himself God, but not in a "we're all part of God" way. If that wasn't some kind of psychotic break or a legitimate bid at starting a cult, then he just needs to calm the fuck down and get back to work. He hasn't put out a video in 3 months and the most recent one, though I didn't watch it, has comparable views to the rest of his channel. It can be salvaged if he stops being a retarded faggot.
Whatever happened to that blonde woman he kept gushing about after he left June?
I also thought that after he June he'd find his niche on Youtube in some way, those cryptid videos were kinda interesting and doing a video each for each viewpoint was quite nice.
Spoken way too soon, I guess. And June on the other hand apparently still holds off the wall and soldiers on despite all the funny shit that happened. Kek.
It's interesting to look back and see how many self-identified critical thinkers could only respond effectively against loons, strawmen, and clickbait. All the while portraying themselves as heroes, rogues, and geniuses for going after the most low-effort targets.
This is why I left the skeptic community behind. I used to be a fan of podcasts like Skeptics Guide to the Universe, but it became clear at some point that they were more interested in debunking homeopathy for millionth time rather than applying that skepticism to anything else.
Some time after elevatorgate happened and it was basically over for them.
I remember checking back on Skeptics Guide a while ago, and unsurprisingly it was "skepticism" over "anti-vax conspiracy theories".
Most of these "atheist" and "skeptic" types had an obvious shelf life from the start. For the likes of Thunderfoot and Armoured Skeptic, their channels were entirely dependent on making fun of Anita Sarkeesian and the like. If you asked them "what will do once Anita Sarkeesian goes away?" they wouldn't have had an answer.
The reason Razorfist and Sargon survived is they had things going for them outside of the drama of the week, pivoting into conservatives pundits and warhammer/media reviews after the GamerGate well dried up.

Science has already produced an advancement that will stop shoe from ripping out her own hair:
She can't rip her hair out if the cone stops her from being able to reach her scalp
Plus greg already got her used to wearing leashes and dog collars so its not a particularly large step up
Bad shoe! BAD! Do you want another squirt from the spray bottle?! Do you want to get smacked on the nose with a rolled up newspaper again?! BAD!
I've been watching Gregory since I was a freshman in high school and was going through my cringe atheist faze. Next year will mark 10 years since I started watching him, and it's been obvious for awhile he's fell down a rabbit hole.
His relationship with June (Shoe0nHead) was a nice arc, they both seemed happy, then Greg leaked her nudes and cheated on her with a tranny lmfao. He went from dunking on Christians to political commentary, and then finally settling on this conspiracy/paranormal stuff he's been covering for the past couple years. Don't get me wrong, I love conspiracies and the paranormal. In fact I originally found 4chan through the /x/ board back in 2012. It's a love of mine.
That being said I think Greg started off covering this stuff in a half hearted way, making logical jumps and whatnot to eventually prove that anything can sound convincing if the person telling the story omits details. It was to prove a point that guillible people will believe anything you tell them if it's explained in a half-assed way, or at least that was my going theory. He then realized that this was were the views actually were, and thus made his channel focus covering the paranormal. You can see people in his comment section confused over this seemingly complete switch in content but Greg would always just give vague answers like "it will be revealed in time". He then tried rebooting his channel with a different and albeit gayer art style, something he claims now was a troll and has deleted the video, and just stuck to covering conspiracies ever since. This year though I think he was driven over the edge when June started posting regularly again on her main channel. I've seen it happen before with friends irl, they break up with a girl thinking they're leaving her behind but it turns out she's the one who leaves them behind, and they go through this psychosis of regretting their acitons. The only difference being Gregory is in his 40s I believe. He looks good for his age don't get me wrong but I think the reality of getting older is fucking with his brain, mixed with making content he thinks is complete bullshit just to keep the lights on, I can see why he's Spoony posting.
When Shoe and Skeptic broke up I said, as contemptible as she is (and trust me, she is), that Shoeonhead was clearly the wronged party. I said so because Greg wasted what remained of her good years with empty promises. While she did nothing of the same magnitude to him. That he is the reaaaaal loser despite the many claims that he successfully 'shorted' Shoe's declining market value.
I was attacked(!) for saying this. But what got me was the low effort e-masculinity nature of the attacks. I clearly understood that The Woman chose poorly (especially with this hindsight) but that saying this only made Greg look worse. Moreover, clearly, the solution for Shoe was to be a shallow bitch by dumping him earlier. Not being a submissive good girl. Which is all that kind of advice offers girls in Shoe's situation-- no clean way to right her own mistake.
It's shit advice and Greg did not end up the victorious party as we now see.
Why yes I am a petty faggot how could you tell? But really I bear no animosity toward individuals who argued with me back then. I probably was shitting up the thread in certain ways. Just reappraise. That's all.
Yeah I had the same feelings as well. They were together for years and June probably thought this was the man she was going to marry. She wasted her last few years of her 20s with Greg and I'm sure that's the reason she puts on makeup like someone half her age would. June, with all her faults, was obviously the best Greg was ever gonna do and it's taken him a couple years to come to that conclusion.
Considering the other people we know about, Greg arguably legitimately is the hunkiest and studliest SO she'd had (and probably will have).
I haven't seen or heard much about TradCath LARPer, so I assume he's either not as bad or at least has enough sense keep it discreet and not be the newest character on the Shuwu Show.
She gassed him up to no end and he fell for his own made up hype.
He's always been a fat loser and she's always been cringe as fuck.
I miss their relationship tbh because they were both so much more entertaining when they did shit like this:
I would say this aged rather poorly for the both of em...
This is another thing having kids can help, because even if your life never amounted to much at its peak and you definitely know your life is not going to get any better, you can at least tell yourself that your kids have a slightly better starting point and they can take it a little further.
So even if your life may never get bettter and maybe was never at a place to be called "good", eh, couple more generations, maybe we'll be good.
Boomers kinda broke that rationale for subsequent generations by lighting the world on fire, but maybe some day when things ha e fallen far enough we'll see intergenerational optimism return.
What other options does he got? Growing into middle age with his dumb youtube channel, crying about not getting the video views that he wants, writing live-journal styled entries on the community tab about how sad he is. Maybe having a kid would have fixed her.
He could just stop being an emo faggot and date women. It's not like their standards are high. That tool made himself unbreedable, but I'm certain he could do fine if just didn't bring up his internet fame and shit.
With no hot air blown up his ass to keep his ego inflated, it was only a matter of time until he'd crash. Can't help but feel a tic of pity for the guy, I remember watching his vids back in the hayday of internet atheism when I was still an edgy teen. Oh how the (not so) mighty have fallen. Wonder what TJ Kirk is up to these days?

The problem with the untrained internet debunking crowd is that they are limited to either picking and choosing arbitrary shit they googled (see any of the social science types) or you have to choose shit that is literally as braindead as possible (hurr durr lets debunk flat earth) types.
I've been involved in the actual "debunking" of a scientific paper and it was the most autistic and painful week of my life, all coming down to a single misstated time constraint that threw everything off. Literally the most tear inducing boredom imaginable, painstakingly checking every method and replugging in data, to graph and then compare equations until we found one that didn't make sense and suddenly the entire thing unraveled and we were all kinda pissed it was that simple a fuck up.
It pretty quickly becomes clear it's just people circle jerking about their beliefs, which is fine. But the real humor in this is that all of these skeptic types who honed their skills arguing against literal faith based systems of belief by asking for sources went on to think that they were some big IQ gigabrain.

Finding out Armored doesn't seem to have his own thread and has to share one with his ex is pure kino to me. even in fucking troll bait failure he's still getting dabbed on by her.

Or you could just stop wanting the world to validate your existence like some sort of neglected child.
Greg always put himself up as some sort of alpha gent with a darker side. It even sounds cringy as fuck typing it. It's the fate of most youtuber/twitter famous people. Fame is a mask that eats into the face.

I don't think thats a good reason to have kids tbh, using your kids as a way to make up for your inadequacy usually just leads to those kinds of dads that stand around screaming abuse at their kid while they're at football practice. If you want kids you should have something to offer them, not use them as a way of living vicariously, which is exactly why Greg not having kids is probably for the best.
I think the funniest thing about this height picture is despite the fact that they didn't need to, because he is obviously much taller than her, they still took a forced perspective picture with him like 3 feet in front of her to exaggerate his height.
All that does is show insecurity about yourself beyond what a post like this already reveals.
