Yeah, but the others don't saw your head off for being a dhimmi. There just plain isn't anything like the kind of violent extremism you see in Islam in Christianity or Judaism. The abrogation in the Quran goes only in one direction: from tolerant to intolerant and peaceful to violent as Muhammad won his wars of conquest.

Some of the ancient Jew shit was pretty brutal. Stoning for example. Everyone in town throws rocks at you until you die. Probably prefer quick beheading.

Oh definitely, ancient warfare in that part of the world was especially brutal. It was completely normal to slaughter all the men and children and take the adult women as basically sex slaves. Even the Psalms themselves have some really nasty curses towards Israel's enemies that have pretty much been censored from modern Christian liturgies.
