This is why you don't "codify" a bill presented by the democrats. Yes gay people should have the same legal shit married people do, but the bill is a backdoor for suing religious groups who object to gay stuff. That was the issue with the 12 sellouts yesterday.

So Pueblo County, Colorado counted the last 100+ ballots they had and Boebert still leads by nearly 700 votes, so it looks like she will hold on, barring some fuckery in the auto recount. So Republicans look like they will be 222 with a potential shot for 223.

Feel like the economy's tipping point was when the dot com boom ended.

People talked about the dot com craze as a time when just learning basic programming could easily get you a job and a good one. Quite a few people were getting recruited out of colleges because of some businesses being so desperate. Can anyone imagine businesses doing that now?

Things never really recovered for white collar workers. Places like Silicon Valley are weird pipe dreams for many now who can't imagine ever getting the sweet life that some of those people get, since the period for easier entry sorta passed them by.

Fix the H1B problem and it'd fix a lot of things. It won't happen though since the largest tech companies abuse the system and have the best lobbyists in DC.
