You forget many GOP sweeps in school boards and local elections as well.
Makes me wonder. If there actually were GOP/MAGA victories, the media would have a distinct interest in pretending that there wasn't, that the election was a disaster, that the electorate rejected MAGA and the left held onto things despite everything. Why? Cause that plays directly into their demoralization efforts and the narrative they want to push re: DeSantis, "Trump is over," "How do you do fellow MAGA," "Gosh it's all fucked lets stay home in 2024, that'll show them!," etc etc.

I mean the unsung story of Trump was he royally fucked over the left's efforts to rig the judiciary to ensure there was no out for their illegal laws. It's one of those things people forget about right as the left and the TDS GOPe start barking about Trump's lack of accomplishments.

Oh Shit! We're in the 90s, everyone must post using neon colors that mimic polyester!

I've been wondering what happens after Trump. Hypothetically speaking, Trump's final year and term is coming to an end, where will the populist movement go? I feel like if republicans keep doing what they are doing or swing too hard back to Christ Almighty the old liberal sorts (not the leftists) will leave the GOP's side. I don't know, remembering the 90s compared to now, both sides attempted to be authoritarian and I'm not sure I want either in power. Let's go GREEN PARTY.

I don't understand who are the retards in Alaska voting for Murkowski lol.

I get it that there are retarded injuns and some Democrats, but that margin is almost close to the MAGA candidate in that Senate race.
Honestly, if I were in Alaska, I'd have a hard time deciding if I wanted to support a Democrat or Mitch McConnell's friend. Either way, it's just a vote for the uniparty but at least those voting blue get to relish in McConnell's tears.

i think the next step after Trump is desantis, the left are trying to make them fight to cause more division in the GOP but it seems both Trump and desantis have agreed to their roles, Trump makes a last stretch to try and win in 2024 and desantis runs after that inheriting Trumps support

I'm not 100% on Desantis, he stinks of a politician and starting to remind me of Abbot active only when necessary; like a Republican't. Also, agree to "roles" is exactly how establishment tumors develop.

Here is a link to the article.
Despite this contradiction over who opened the door, the basic facts of the attack are not disputed in the documents: 42-year-old David DePape is accused of breaking into the Pelosi home and attacking 82-year-old Paul Pelosi with a hammer.
I love how they defend the "poor Pelosi " narrative when there is direct proof that the DOJ lied.

Yes, they are lying. Their "mistakes" always go one way.

Is this from 4chan? If so, walmart anon has been around for years, I'm surprised he's still posting breakroom pics.

Whenever drumpf is finished I expect Republicans to reach across the aisle and work behind the scenes with Democrat leadership to restore the status quo and fortify it so a Trump can't happen again.

That said, I think the cat is out of the bag to some degree and Trump has invigorated (radicalized) enough of the population that the game is changed forever. I have wondered much of the same and look forward to the old guard croaking as that is a requirement with the GOP to entertain any changes to their platform.

Regrettably, that is my worry and most likely outcome. You can see just when the plan was enacted from Clinton on. It was too "perfect", you knew who was going to win elections, you were okay with the carpet bombing and nerve agent attacks. Not specifically you, just a nebulous You like the nebulous establishment. Trump really felt like "waking up" from the Matrix for me, making me realize both sides suck. He left behind a gaping void that I'm certain is being filled up right under our noses.

Agreed. Personally, I can see both parties collapsing and rebuilding in the near future. Perhaps it'll fracture and we'll finally have a multi-party system. :optimistic:

Yesterday I saw an article lambasting Trump for thinking about a 2024 run because he's old. Trump is obviously getting up there in the years, but he's mentally cognizant enough to individually greet or offend people respectively without being prompted to by WH staff.

While searching for news articles about this, I came across a year-old Snopes article regarding a previous time Biden relied on cheat sheets. Snopes concluded the claim was true, but claimed that using notes was "not new".

As far as the 1990’s go, the last great years for that decade were ‘95, ‘96 and ‘97. 1994 seemed like the best one out of the bunch, but that’s an obvious.

Using a cheat sheet like that to have to follow basic instructions while not realizing that America re-elected a teleprompter and note card reader from Obama and Trump’s years says a lot about why we need to improve our literacy rates in this country.

Didn’t this shit lead to scandal under the Obama Administration?

People are living paycheck to paycheck. People cannot afford GAS. People are struggling to FEED THEIR FAMILIES because of Biden-caused inflation, and the House and the Senate are worried about LEGALIZING GAY MARRIAGE, likely in retaliation just because Roe got overturned and they're "worried" about "turning back the clock".

I mean even a bunch of GOP members voted to keep gay marriage legal, too. I have ZERO doubt that the societal acceptance of homosexuality and the SCOTUS decision where gay marriage was made legal has led to things like troons, grooming, gay porn in school libraries, and child drag queens. I mean it's really time to remove "Slippery Slope" from the category of logical fallacies. To add insult to injury, the GOP is supposedly the right wing conservative party in the US. I'm a registered Republican IRL and have very Rightist views on things, but what exactly have the "conservatives" in American government "conserved" this past half century? Believe me, no one is more irritated with the GOP than Republican voters.

Absolutely unreal.
