Why is he asking for the status of whether that email is staffed or working correctly? That is his company and the fact that he thinks he has some sort of authority.

However, I don't really think Kiwifarms “hurts” other than mean comments. Can bring criticized hurt your self steem? Yes, a lot, and having strangers just say mean things is hurtful. But it's not the end of the world and it's really tame compared to what others will do, especially once they reach to interact with the people.
